3/5 because it got docked a point for controls. Sometimes the game wouldn't 'grab' the mouse properly so my mouse would end off in la-la land. And, of course, you have to trick it to let GO of the mouse pointer. Otherwise a solid platformer and interesting use of physics. To go all the way to 5/5 it would need more levels (which are coming) and perhaps some visual variation. Yes, I know minimalist worked for portal but Portal had that sexy AI voice to help with immersion. ;)
I had to give it 1/5 because the controls were so jerky that it was impossible to play. I have a fast processor, so that wasn't the problem. The problem might have been with the required addon, potentially, but no one else has mentioned a problem with it.
Puzzle elements were a bit random, along with the appearance of various characters. There should NEVER be a pixel hunt without at least some clues first. The cricket had a clue in the diary, but this was an exception.
Gave it 3/5. Would give another point if things like monsters shooting through walls didn't kill you with no hope of getting away. It killed me, sent me back to the start of the level and then killed me again for the final death. NOT fun.
1 star due to bugs. It's possible to lose gems (stuck in walls or just have them vanish if you scroll at the wrong time) and that makes it very easy to get stuck on at a gate.
Perhaps it can have a 'hard' mode where you have to produce only perfect tiles and break none. Regular is for the people who aren't so picky. =)
Of course, some levels, as currently set up, might require some broken/imperfect tiles. You can implement a breakage/bad tile limit for hard mode.
5/5 I originally gave it a 4/5 but I found that I had to keep playing until I had finished all the levels! I'm hoping for a sequel pack with more levels.
I agree on the crosspipe illustration; it should be JOINED pipes not CROSSING. It would be an interesting mechanic if there were cross pipes and joined pipes. Also T-intersection pipes. Also, the way it's currently designed, it's impossible for the game to get much harder. Need to introduce new elements (but not a time limit... yech). Perhaps fixed pipes that can't be moved, uncrossable tiles, pipes that will only join if their 'fittings' match (narrow/wide for example).
Liberals are not necessarily stupid. LIBERALISM, as practiced in the US today, is stupid, however. I'm an old-school liberal in which I'm in favor of more freedom (which means less government), more tolerance (including males, whites, catholics, straights, and even the hated rich) and love of country. Modern day liberalism is profoundly anti-freedom which is why I'm a libertarian. JFK I could vote for; Ted Kennedy I certain can't!
