One of the best things on Kong. Graphics are basic, but elegant and witty. Game mechanics are rich and deep for a flash: you can cut down your foes or use special abilities - nothing unusual there - but you can also gain positional and terrain advantages, hurl pigs, crates and corpses, topple bookshelves, trap enemies in the path of an oncoming locomotive, use elevators, and discover easter-egg caches. Character advancement follows a classic d&d model in that there are good picks as well as relative turkeys, but in a short game this just enhances replayability. Finally, the writing is excellent, created by someone who has read or seen Clockwork Orange and read widely elsewhere. I've never been involved in making a game, but I'd have been proud to have been a part of this. A gem.
