The problem I have with this game is that it's not so much an exercise in finding a valid solution as it is in finding what the creator had in mind. On the second puzzle if you have the wrong 1 blocks in the wrong places it doesn't count. But as soon as you swap their positions it says you've cleared it. The best fix would be to actually check each block's criteria rather than have pre-programmed situations that count as 'wins.' I had this as 3/5 but I'm dropping it to 2/5 until this is fixed. If you clean up the graphics and maybe add some sound, you've got a winner here for sure.
I LOVE the loading screen. The game itself is a little frustrating. It's hard to tell where exactly the ball will move when I shoot it, as it seems like the physics are a little off. Maybe they're just too precise. Either way, it's enjoyable, but very difficult to play well.
Just finished the main story line. GREAT GAME! 5/5 from me, very well done. The only glitches were when I hit corners on terrain, but this is game of amazing quality.
Alright, I got it to accept a solution, but you need to be sure to account for multiple solutions to some problems. In problem 3 I was able to swap a few tiles around in the same pattern and have multiple 'good' solutions.
For some reason it's not accepting my solution to level three. It looks to me like all the blocks have their requirements met, yet somehow it doesn't accept it.
3/5 for the puzzle potential here. It needs to be cleaned up some graphically and have better collision detection. Maybe you could also color-code blocks (or give some other indication) to show which blocks have too many or too few stacked with them.
It needs some sort of sound. Also you should probably let us know how well we did on each level. And making us lose points when we discard and we clearly have no choice about it (I don't need stars any more... I filled them all already) isn't cool. If I had misplaced them, that's one thing, but at least show that. 2/5
I've only done a very small amount of flash and none of it was games. However, I would guess that your "go to menu" bug when the player wins might be fixed by making it a GoToAndStop... I think. It's been too long since I've played with Flash.
It's a very interesting concept. A little tricky to focus on the clocks and the pads all at once (I'd prefer controlling the pads with the keyboard and time with the mouse or vice versa, but that's part of the complexity).
I like the innovation. 4/5 but only because it could be cleaned up a little graphically and have some music or something. The sound effects are good (except for the noise when you get points... getting a lot of points is VERY annoying sound wise) but they aren't quite enough for me.
It's interesting, but I've got problems with the controls and the camera. When I was driving near the left or right edge of the screen (or top or bottom) I wouldn't be able to see obstacles to avoid them in time. The minimap helps, but it's not enough. Also, it felt like the turning and acceleration could use some work. You've got a good concept. It just needs some refinement.
Superb. The game mechanics were great. Now if the music weren't so irritating at first (I muted the game right away, so I don't know how it sounded later on) and the plot and mechanics expanded some, it'd be even better. I gave it 4/5 partially for the things already mentioned, but also because it was just too short. I'd like to see a sequel with more fine-tuned controls (I felt like I couldn't turn my ship well at all) and longer play-time.
I like the fact that you actually took advantage of what some would consider bugs (right button and scrolling out of bounds). However, you need to disable those in the levels where it's not part of the strategy. I ended up right-button-bugging my way through the levels because I'm not patient enough to actually go through them all.
You need to either slow down the scrolling or allow the player to rise/lower themselves faster. I often found myself lined up with one of the (very hard to see) blue squares and I would hit it no matter what. Keep at it though.
