Always craft x2, and aim to get a good laser and thunder for your hero. With those 2 weapons, and an occasional shield, you can beat the game in under an hour
finally done the game, wow it was hard. Some tips: 1) always keep a melee unit with your mages/priests to stop teleporting undead from killing your ranged units. 2) Buy ordinary archers, they kill so many they level up quickly. 3) I found snipers and clerics much better than crossbow/monk. 4) Get 1 spy, attract enemy aggro and run around while letting your snipers do the lifting. 5) Target priorities (highest first): Teleporting undead/Bomb/Ghost/Ranged units/Ogre/Melee units. Hope it helps!
another note: units keep trying to attack if enemy is within range, even though the order was to move to another place. I think the automatic aggro is taking precedence over orders
lv 20 is freakin impossible...the random vampire spawn +ghosts is too deadly. Also, the fact that only mages can kill ghosts adds to the problem, because mages suck crap, walk slow, and shoot even slower
very annoying when you try to send in 3-4 spies to focus on one mage, but then they keep dispersing to fight units around the mage, and die. Make it so that an order to focus on enemy will cause the entire selected group to kill it
Not bad, im really enjoying the life set, that 500hp heal every 0.5 seconds when i deal damage is pretty op XD
Couple glitches. A lot of item sets dont work properly, i have all 3 frozen equipped but im not getting a 100% frozen hit rate, etc.
When too many monsters horde me i'm incapable of moving. Clicking near walls causes random movement...fix your moving algorithms near borders.
One last thing, its more about the balancing. In later levels, around stage 10+, any builds that dont focus massive life regen gets destroyed by hordes instantly. I found fun sets like the frozen one and toxic ones nowhere near as powerful as the life regen one...but maybe its just me, i dont know.
Anyway, 4/5 for now, 5 if you fix the bugs : )
A strategy that almost works for everything, except the "luck levels", is archer spam, highest mana regen rings and mana -> food mace. At high levels you literally can create archers non-stop and own everything :)
I made a sort of medieval fort battle with map editor. A fort of bricks with me hiding in it, and outside the map is covered with shotgun and rocket bosses. I put barrels right in front. Boomboomboom :))
whew, finally beat it. If you are using speed biological at Zone 7, after the twin guardians, the last two are very easy. Anyways, if u guys need a hint for those pesky guardians, once you kill one Guardian, just crystallize and wait the shield out on the second guy, then withdrawal combo him. Make sure speed is 600+ to ensure u OHKO him.
Very nice to have my revenge on Gazzen :D He pwned me in the first fight with a fireball. I whirlwinded, froze, reaped then decapitated that dude at the end :P
Well, when I tested it, it seemed challenging, but not impossible. I'll make more playtests.
