This wasn't what I was expecting. I wish I was pleasantly surprised but I found the game to be a cheap ripoff of MTG Online. Or at least it wishes it was...it's too slow, full of bad mechanics, and has a very strange way of eating more processor power than game with twice the eye candy. 2/5
Not a bad game... bonus points for the details. The live action cinematics are a nice touch. The graphics are decent and the sound is good. Didn't keep my interest though. Giving it a standard 3/5.
The classic feel is nice (in places like the hand drawn character art etc) but the game plays like a beta version. The color palette makes it hard to see obstacles in some areas. It's easy to get stuck on a rock that blends in with the dirt. Magic doesn't work 100% of the time. The music is annoying as crap. And the grind is worse than an MMO ... at least with an MMO you know you're supposed to grind a couple days in each area. In a single player game you shouldn't have to grind the newbie area for hours and hours before being able to reliably kill monsters in the second area. Overall 2/5 until the final version gets released. Assuming this isn't the final version. Which it shouldn't be.
There's a very good reason this is the first flash game of its kind; it isn't that good. Maybe if it came out for DOS 20 yrs ago it would be cutting edge and able to hold my attention for more than two levels. As it stands it's way too repetitive. There isn't even good graphical candy to keep me staring at the screen. Bored now. 2/5
A worse game than rock, paper, scissors. At least you have a chance with your hands. The RNG decided that I should miss all the time even with STR and ATT maxed out per level. 1/5
The game is frustrating at first. I keep getting attacked and loosing 1/2 my cargo or gold... and I put all my points into Trade... going to have to start again when I have zero gold left (which will be soon). Oh well. Not too bad a game otherwise. 3/5
Nice music, pretty colors, good graphics, but the gameplay is a little too casual for my tastes. 4/5 Spoiler Alert! Move the phoenix in figure 8 patterns for the best tail swings. Sweep wide to clear off half the tree at a time.
If the author was going for a slow, extremely low resource game then he got it. This game is pretty average. It plays like Final Fantasy Tactics with very low graphic value. Heck, a lot of the class names and abilities are straight out of FFT. If there is another version that is faster playing, more intuitive, and has better graphics (good backgrounds even!) it would be worth a 3/5.
The game is fun but very repetitive. For that reason replay value is kinda low. It would be nice if all three secondary weapons fired at the same time (or maybe my game was just messed up). Not too bad though. 3/5
Forgot to mention there are a few bugs. Sometimes creeps run off the path and disappear off screen, and sometimes mana gets stuck at zero. If the translation and bugs were fixed this could be a 5/5 flash game.
Very nice take on tower defense games. Don't let the poor translation discourage you though... the powers available in the first round are fireball (ranged attack) and fire body (damage shield). You won't get any orbs (a.k.a. towers) until round two but the first round is easy anyway. Good game 4/5.
This game wants to be a crossover of the building sim and tower defense genres. Instead of doing one thing well, it manages to do both things half way. There's too much going on at any given time and little time to accomplish anything. While there may be some fans of this game I'm not one of them.
The game has a lot of interesting ideas but it's lacking... I don't know... something. The controls are easy enough to understand but numb the mouse hand pretty fast. The recticle is on target but apparently air current causes your arrows to miss wildly sometimes.
A couple things made the game too repetitive and boring after a while. The monsters are going to swarm you like crazy. With no potions to heal HP/MP it's pretty much a Fear-fest with the occasional Rock Wall and Firestorm for good measure. That's pretty much all there is to the game.
Not great, but definitely better than some of the flash games floating around. Average 3/5
This is a fun little RTS (of sorts). Would be nice to see a version 2.0 with special powers for heroes, more units, and option to build extra stuff. Awesome for a flash game though.
This is not so much a game as it is an interactive story. A fun 10 minutes though. I enjoyed replaying sections to try all the breath powers and hero options.
Good game. The puzzles are difficult if you aren't paying attention but all the clues are there. The ending was great. I'm glad "red" is gone... what a witch!
