xxhurley, try to get some medals (they help all your saves) and try to play with laptop difficulty in the mods. At least until you get the feel of the game. You can get all kong badges except the last with laptop difficulty on.
Fantastic game. Really fun. It's really all about picking the right location. Look for something where 3 colors are required (for the maps tha require at least 3). Start there and you'll be fine.
