Oh, damn! I knew there would be a catch! >.< I guess I'll need to get rid of time scoreboards, since the wrong value is sent. Please wait warmly with Time Attack until then. -. .-' (oh, and yes, the fact that after uploading the game scoreboards behave badly is so depressing...)
"I hate doing tests with dogs, I love dogs..." - Nothing less to be expected the game made by such developer. ;) (also, I find it kinda sad that in order to discover different reactions, particularly advanced ones, you need to mistreat poor specimen in order to get Aggressive reaction :( )
Uh, oh... So it's SPACE key! >_< To be honest, this is one of the last keys I would *hold* rather than *press* (in hotkeys these are usually Ctrl, Alt and Del... I mean, Shift), but maybe it's just me (now that I look at it, Space is used at Garden, too). Well, I suppose it wouldn't hurt to add that info to LolMarket Help, would it? ^^' (@calvin: but I couldn't find info about it anywhere in game ;_;)
I don't know if it was suggested before, but I would like to have buying/selling as many gems as possible with single click in LolMarket. For example, if you want to sell all the lvl. 7 gems, you would click on "Sell" button while holding Shift and they would be sold at once. Or if you see that lvl. 10 gems have relatively low price, you would click "Buy" button while holding Shift and you would by as many gems as you can afford. I guess that it's not difficult to make, while it would be quite helpful! If you're a player and you want to save your mouse for a badly designed button that was stolen directly from a crappy game probably not anymore in the Latest Games section, please rate it up to keep the comment alive!
(you aren't going to tell me that it's already possible one way or another, are you, Tukkun? O.o)
"@wondersunflower you have to battle strong monsters to have a chance over 0% of getting a crystal of ultimate rarity, and chances are lower than crystals of rarity." - That's exactly why I find funny the fact that I have *more* such crystals (since my last comment I've got one more CoUR, no Crystals of "Generic" Rarity found)! ^^' (I just would like to know where all these minuses to my comment came from; it's not like I trolled or referred to something obvious, unless in Anti-Idle it's perfectly normal that Ultimate Rarity happens about twice more often than normal Rarity. Or maybe I did? O.o)
...wow! I've beaten the game. Can I get the impossible badge and 60 points now? :< (also, 17-20 coins section is way more difficult than 21-24 one; maybe try placing more save points in the former? I don't think this will ruin the scoreboard, since there's not much to ruin)
So, things to change: 1) Wider screen; 2) Restarting level upon pressing something else than Backspace (it's inconvenient the way it is now, maybe use left mouse button instead?); 3) Disable pause on focus lost; 4) Prevent enemies to appear right on my character, maybe count the distance between the player and enemy and compare? 5) Oh, and maybe these effects should be limited, because they make it really difficult to see what happens. Apart from that, this game is great!
IMPORTANT INFORMATION: This game was *stolen*! To make people aware of that, rating up comments saying about stealing is suggested. You can confirm it by simple check: this is "A *Second* Leap of Faith", while this developer doesn't have published the *first* one. Oh, so it happens that ethan718 have uploaded it to Kong at the beginning of this year, apparently! O.o So yes, people, please keep these comments alive and wait patiently for the finished version of this game!
You know something's wrong with your collision system when you jump straight up and get killed by tile to the left.
Maybe make collision boxes for lava much smaller? Something like 24x24 in the middle or so... ^^' I assure you, it won't make game too easy!
You could add a highscore table for combined number of paths, too! Sometimes it's possible to finish the level by placing less than allowed paths, and I think it would be nice to reward players for that, too (example: I've finished level 28 in 84/112 moves, and it seems that there were still useless paths placed). Levels which aren't completed yet would have a paths value of 999 or something like that. ^^
Oh, this game was quite enjoyable. It has nice graphics and soundtrack, although gameplay could be a bit more varied (on the other hand, twist with second boss invisibility was nice ^^'). Also, I'd rather have *holding* the key for shoot rather than *pressing* it; the way is it now it doesn't make game more challenging; it makes it annoyingly tiring. ^^' But yes, other parts were nicely done, and although it wasn't something great, I suppose I can give 3/5. ^^
Thanks. I mostly use Joy2Key which allows you to assign keys to your gamepad and it has a turbo fire option. This was a quickly made game a while back for a contest we had. Gonna take a break for a bit and will wait for more feedback. Some will enjoy it more than others the way it is now.
Well, first of all, do you use recycled actors for bullets? Second: are you sure you destroy them when they leave the screen? Those are two things I can think of about it; I would need to see the behaviors to think of more possible reasons. -. .-'
Uh, oh, well... First, for unknown reason my ship started to shoot much more rarely, and I have no idea why is that so. Are you sure you remove bullets every time they leave the screen? O.o
Second: I would rather make Space holding shoot bullets (rather than space pressing). You know, I like my hand and would rather don't overuse it. ^^'
Third: when I entered debug screen, I saw some errors (something about null object in always block of Do On Press behavior or like that, maybe it was connected with shooting?). And when I apparently lost my all lives, I saw many, many warnings, like on this screen: http://tinypic.com/r/2ywifk4/7
Generally, it needs a LOT of work to do. ^^'
Shooting more rarely... could be something to do with more CPU usage. As for the screenshot you posted, I have never seen anything like that. I will make sure to make it so that you can just hold down the space bar for Space Invader 2.
*EDIT* I experience not being able to fire also.
Yes, finally! I would probably check if every dialogue works properly and if you can't cause some paradoxes, but I'M NOT A FREAKING BETATESTER ANYMORE!!1 At last I can really enjoy this game as a player, hooray!
But... *gasp* I've found out that if you eat hamburger (and the other food, too), it's just impossible to get the best ending. I perfected everything else (dialogue including) and I've got only the good one. Good thing I checked it after getting the best one, so I've got all 19 achievements in a single playthrough! ^^
Also, hooray for "DRESS UP" tag! That's definitely the most appropriate one here!!1 :D
Alright, seeing as my score is 482 rather than -1, it seems to be fixed now!
