did most of the game using exclusively a 4 fire set, added 2 wind when it became available, and only at the end did i swap to 2 fire 2 wind 2 earth, fight wasnt that tough even with my underpowered gear just due to the sheer amount of strength i built up as i went and quickly cleared the map, im sure there are more efficient ways to go about doing things, but this way was quite effective at steady progress every run :)
Good way to approach it! A concept I have in this game but didn't fully explore is the idea that you have different builds in a run that you transition between, rather than just 1 target build. You identified a good example of that, where you use fire to farm, but there's no need to have that for the boss so you have to figure out a good transition point to veer away from that. There are other builds in the game like that but I'd like a full version to make those more significant.
Block points add 1 pixel to both height and width of your initial block, ultra points add another multiplier to your income... if you get about 50 block points and max floor height you will prestige within 3 seconds for the best results, 550 block points means floor height no longer matters
Smelting bars is giving no exp though it says in the wiki that it should be IE cinnibar ore -> bucket of mercury is supposed to give 350 exp but is giving 0
If you click on say the shop, the way to close out of it isnt clear, its just a circle in the top right, so as a feature, add both a small x in the circle, and also make it so clicking the shop tab, or any of the tabs again to close out of them please
Thanks for the feedback! We went ahead and added an 'x' to the close button for clarity. Also now the shop button will close the shop if it's already open. In addition the Esc key will close all open windows and if none are open will toggle the game menu.
There are more upgrades for Crit in particular, not going to spoil when you get them, however when i got them i got 250% chance for crit without using my sparks.
the ice area is way WAY too hard... with the status effects, and any of the runic doors you open causing you to get pinned by ice bombs... difficulty needs to be toned down a hair, and you need to be able to walk through ice bombs
Just fixed some issues with the Ice Bombs in last update (just a few mins ago). They should be significantly less bullshit now. Lemmie know how it goes with the new changes. The last few levels are definitely supposed to be a big step up in difficulty though. Ideally I'd like players just desperately searching for the stairs at that point, running from monsters, fighting only when absolutely necessary. Basically I want an exciting climax that isn't just more methodical clearing of every floor.
SFKazoul, Personal Assistant takes care of this, i used a remington and a heavy machine gun, and couldnt use all my remingtons bullets before the machine gun was reloaded (usually 3 was the max before this happened) so just keep swapping between guns for reloads
just got negative altitude for the first time in sandbox, standard settings, had a maxed big bertha, omega penguin, 4 sonic bursts and 4 helpers, shot straight at the ground and got like -4k altitude... it also was lagging horribly and wouldnt let me quit, interesting glitch, curious about the possible applications for story mode for longest trip
I just cant wait until development finishes and badges are added and things :D i can imagine a badge for following each of the storylines to the end and getting the "good" end for each perhaps as a hard badge

got an error the first time i loaded this new update, was refreshing at the time because it took a long time loading, so i dont know what error, but the 2nd time it froze after loading on the screen saying Disruption Games
I am using the most updated version of firefox (my normal browser) with unity and javascript fully updated as well every time i start i get a "script error" but beyond that none, it usually runs just sometimes the save corrupts i guess
the only problem i have with the game aside from how imbalanced it is, is that if you have a game and try to re-load it often fails and the only fix is to clear your cache
its now possible to get married at 16 at the earliest due to the 2 years lost furnishing your home, takes a little time but i retired with 14k gold at 30 XD
Requesting a way to save a build so that if an experimental build for an area doesnt work out you dont have to go through all the effort of re-building the build you have shown to work
