@RemelR Try VL (Void-Lance) rushing the boss. It works pretty much forever as long as the boss is nearby. You need the expansion tech and a cloaked VL along with constructors. Start by placing as many extractors as you can (remember to pause and also count how many constructors you will need to reach the enemy base) and then once you have the metal sell the extractors for energy and place the VL hugging the enemy base. This may take a few tries as the enemy build order is random and he may cover all possible VL spots before you reach his base. Its the easiest to do this on the yellow boss as they don't have tactical shields but with a bit of luck you will be able to do this on the green and red boss too.
@h2odeliriousfan Grind on quick matches on insane difficulty with 4 teams and 12 players on Frostbite to get credits and your loadout should be like this M9 Barett, Burst torch, Shotgun (high damage, will one shot or 2 shot most enemies), Assault bouncer (very powerful will 3-4 shot most enemies and is effective against adrenaline boost due to the burn), Holy grail (Obvious), Laser minigun or destroyer and rocket launcher (another obvious one)
For equipment adrenaline boost, Shield battery and extra clips and for ability health pack. The adrenaline boost will keep you at 1 hp and as soon as you get to 1 hp heal up with health pack if you do it right you can tank 3+ shots from a rocket launcher. Your priority weapons should be the rocket launcher, holy grail, shotgun and assault bouncer (in the order I listed them in)
@elementalz I don't think thats possible, the alien campaign is already absurdly hard I will try beating it with the starter weapons but I doubt I will be able to do it with starter equipment
@tanminecraft2 The game becomes pretty much impossible after level 200, the only way to win is to get multiple AI's without any asteroids or the cloud AI which is the weakest one and can be easily killed even at level 200
