Accept the right-most daily quest which says "reach level 1500." Okay, no sweat. Except it doesn't go away even at well-past 1500. Refresh game; daily has changed to "reach level 4000." Nice bait and switch!

Is there any point to defense/hp? It seems like enemy damage outpaces any possible defense and hp, even upgraded a ton, to the point where you'd end up getting 1-shot anyway so you might as well put everything into damage.

Wow, no. No game with farming resources, boss fights, and permadeath that starts you over from the beginning should ever be tagged "relaxing" no matter how boring the music is.
