I wish I could see what I was bouncing off, but the FOV is too small. Also, upgraded boosters don't seem significantly more powerful, so it'd be nice to keep the old ones, or to make the upgraded ones multi-use. I do, however, think the bear is hilarious.
I've very much enjoyed this group (series?) of chain reaction games you've made. This one in particular is an interesting take, with the strategy element of picking and choosing one's bombs. I hope you continue to have more ideas along these lines and keep these coming. :)
I tend to like physics games, so no surprise I enjoyed this one, which is very well crafted. Plus I get a kick out of the woken-up box's expression as it falls. :D
I love the atmosphere and the characters in this. I had a bit of a problem with the battle system lagging., though I did mostly learn to compensate for it. There was also notable lag in plotting the damage/healing numbers. Also, while I do .like the infinitely resettable attributes, since points given out were IMO fairly minimal, it was hard to decide what to spend on. I also think maybe poison was a bit overused by the enemy since there was no way to remove it and some characters had no way to counter it. Still overall I did rahter like the game despite my whinging about that. :D I hope to see the sequel here soon!
The intro text goes by waaaaayyyy too fast, and I say that as someone who can get through a novel in 2 hours.
Also, I don't mind a lot when people reserve something special for their "home" site, but the whole "nope, one race only" thing basically totally turned me off the game. Sorry.
I feel the last few levels are too fiddly, as they lack any good visual clues for how far over one is dropping brains to help guide one even in experimentation.
As someone who has worked in way too many offices with bosses who are never satisfied (I secretly named my boss Matt), I appreciate this game. As someone who just likes launch games, I also find it fun. Every time the dog showed up, I laughed like whoa. I love the kickin' shoes idea, that's just terrific. If the game lacks anything, it's the ability to customize; it'd be so much more cathartic if I could make a more suitable avatar and boss. I see in the comments above that the second game should include the latter so I'm hoping you'll also do the avatar as well. (Female choice would be nice. :3) Looking forward to the sequel!
Heh heh heh CRUSH ZOMBIES CRUSH CRUSH wheeee!
I love this game.
I'm pretty sure it's the zombies who keep stacking the boxes, but I'd like to thank them for the bonus money. ^_^
We should definitely explain to our current car companies that the best way to save fuel is to make cars more aerodynamic. Nothing like flying in a truck trailer!
