anyone who cant seem to get through the creeper walls on level 5, start by maximizing your energy output (you will have to excavate for more room) and after that, pile as many blasters and layunchers against the creeper walls as you can. dont even bother with repulsors on the third creeper room, the creeper lord will just bite you. if your blasters ever stop firing due to any reason other than fire interval, you need to have more reactors.
@bradley, dont even bother with the top two pools of creeper until the bottom one has been dealt with and destroyed. then take care of the top one, THEN take care of the middle. dont be afraid to flood the entire cavern with anti creeper if you need to. try using shields to funnel the anti creeper where its needed.
everyone, to solve level 5 (engineering), I simply put out 46 blasters and about the same amount of launchers above the "creeper lord" as I called it (due to the extreme density of the creeper walls). to keep this massive assault going, I had about a thousand (who knows how many there really were) reactors with a researched maximum reactor efficiency. after a few minutes of my massive army pounding on the creeper lord, I eventually managed to obliterate all of it.
I give this one star, because its just another copy of... wait, this isn't top-down, this is from-the-side. 2 stars for that. my very own pet creeper? 3 stars. additional resources? 4 stars. out with the old strategema and in with new, completely awesome strategies, such as taking about 30 blasters and flooding the room with them, and owning the hell out of the creeper with them? 5 stars. my suggestion: anti-creeper needs to be red. red has always been the opposite of blue, for me.
ya know, if i had a credit card i would pay at least 20 bucks for the songs. however, without that card i can only order kongregate to pay you by giving you five stars. merry christmas :)
@allenhill , i suppose the other way was impossible. in this one, you still get cards by way of achievements, however there's also the luck system, where you win a game, get creds, and based off the difficulty, have a chance to get a card. then theres the store to spend those creds on. finally, slots only costs the time it takes for a day to pass.
I don't have control over that, but i was relying on it - hence there's no chat in the lobby. For a chat to work out, it would have to be accessible from anywhere in the game as well. I might still add something like that, but it won't be a simple matter.
@saigneur there's at least a dozen instant kill effects. careful when playing against the RD, TM, RV, XY, or CA as they have instakill effects. also, be careful of the XY, RV, and TM as they have card control. beware the CA, MT, and RD as they can drain your energy, easily. the HU, CA, XY, RV, MT, and TM have the ability to debuff. the RV and RD have ships that keep their ships healed making it much harder to break through their lines. there's a massive amount of stuff the AI is using that you obviously aren't.
OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG this games gonna be incredible i love it already and its not even been out a week yet! time for me to get up and start running around in circles, saying "SPECTRUM IS HERE SPECTRUM IS HERE!!!"
