so is anyone going to tell me why my game didn't save?

So last night i was playing, i wake up today to check on the game and everything is wiped.

Step 1: Go to options Step 2: Turn the Brightness all the way up Step 3: Turn the Sound all the way down Step 4: Enjoy. You won't shit yourself now

why did i get the developer responses in my mail when I haven't even played the game yet...

is it a glitch where pretty much everything costs more than the oil when you get past 300 of everything?

I've been playing for a while now and i still haven't been given to buy the smelting pot, is this normal? I have the gym membership, am i missing something?
