Cute game...loved the characters and the storyline. Wish there was more difficulty though. It felt like I was playing a demo where I wanted more but never really got it. I never felt challenged or like I needed to utilize any strategy. It didn't help that the priestess can heal anywhere on the map. But still, my appetite is whetted for the next part. 4/5
The game was decent, though I happen to like most 'Tycoon' games. For me it got boring after about 20 minutes though. I'd been through all the properties, was on the most expensive one, bought and upgraded all the equipment, and got the popularity bar to 100. I was reduced to restocking the shelves and waiting through each day.
The idea is decent, and I really enjoyed it on easy and medium modes. Too bad 'hard' means give you no resources so you can't do anything while your opponent ravages you, seems to have better luck getting cards, and more than occasionally kills you off in the first or second turn. I enjoy a good challenge, but that's a slaughter. And if you have to exclusively depend on luck to even hold your own, it's not really fun, is it?
Boring...no storyline, no plot, no real point, no real way to win or lose. Just click, click, click and watch numbers rise and fall. I usually enjoy simulator games when there's at least some fun to them. 1/5...but would give 0/5 if possible. >>
