The buying and selling achievements can easily be gotten by just buying splash damage -modifiers. Just buy until you have bought 50 items in total and then sell them. For the remaining sells, buy a few more and sell them as well. Should make funds-grinding less tedious.
I encountered a bug. When I waited and hoped that the soldiers would've finished the last monster on day 3, they didn't and I was directed to the "day end" screen. I quickly pressed the Quit button on the top-left corner and figured I should start all over because i keep getting ~70% from the bow's streching part. For some reason, I did not get the prologue, and the first person I met was the merchant. Then it was day 4, the bottom map was just a red box and a black box slowly followed the wagon as it rolled in. Nothing major occurred (yet), but just thought you'd like to know.
Okay... The last Native that stayed in my inn for the day first went to his room, then to the breakfast buffet, then to the laundry room, the buffet, laundry room, buffet, laundry room, buffet, and then finally leaving the inn... Wow, he must be a messy eater...
Every turn someone dies by 'joining' The Church of The Chosen Ones and then everyone goes and celebrate. Is this some kind of a bug? A lot of improvements when compared to the 1st one. Good job.
I really love the unique gameplay this has. Most of the time it's you who controls the unit's movement but in this game I have to rely on the units that I send in the battlefield. I also noticed just now that you don't have to press X to close the menu, just click on the same square once you're ready (but if it's an empty space, you'll have to press X to close menu). I don't know if this is a glitch or not, but if I replay a mission (either because I believe that it went too badly or I lost) I have the upgrades that I placed before entering unit deployment phase AND the expirience I got from the previous mission. I'm giving this game a 5/5 because it really is a nice change from the other ones.
I just beated the mothership... had to use 2 spreads and a tri-shot and a missile power up that I received during the final battle in order to destroy the mothership in time..
Recommended bonus skills before Guardian
Matt: 10+ attack 10+ defence, Mana Leech (use Rune Stone up untill you've defeated the mini boss attacking or using legend) and Legendary (keep using legend)
Natz: 10+ m.attack 10+ defence, Bunny! (use slime bunny 3 times before you meet a bonus checkpoint) and Bunny!!! (same as Bunny!. Reason you should take these 2 is because you might not have to waste a turn to rebuff this and you heal 3000+ instead of 1500+). After guardian take counter for Matt and Elusive for Natz.
Guardian Strategy: the sword is the most frightening one, since it can take out 50% of health from both players even with defence buff at its fullest. Natz should try to seal guardian as soon as possible to prevent regeneration. During the fight try to keep the rebuffing up to Natz's limit break (but it doesn't give regeneration, so you'll have to rebuff that manually). Matt should use Stone Edge, Inferno, Blizzard or Blood Blade and attack with legend and limit break. Do use mist potions to heal group (or just a potion on Natz if Matt with Blood Blade has over 8500+ hp when round starts) if you're going to rebuff regeneration.
Here's the way i defeated Guardian: The first time i got to the upgrade screen i chose mana leech for Matt (switch weapon to Rune Blade in order ti gain this, use a few legends with it) and Elementalist for Natz (that's her name, right?). Before going against guardian make sure you buff yourself with defence, magic defence and regeneration. 2nd bonuses i took were legendary for Matt (with mana leech, inferno or blizzard will most of the time give you most of you mana back from legends) and thunderclap for Natz (though suggest using slime bunny 3+ times before going against guardian to get the Bunny! bonus). Oh, and i took 10+ att and def for Matt, 10+ mag att and def for Natz. Hope this helps against guardian.
@ metroco: No, the rest and heal is what it says, just going up there to rest and heal. The difference in this is that you won't get any score penalty, unlike the altars (-150pts).
