Day 234555: Rocket Scientist deemed mad: research grant given to rocket blimp project after reading reports of how many rockets were destroyed by blimps by accident without leaving a scratch on the blimp.
why is it the totally indestructable tower of doooom only costs 3k to upgrade but my weapons cost so much? cant I just sit in my 2x cannon tower and slaughter everything?
Idea: automatically award all lower levels ribbons on completion. Eg. if you complete medium award the easy ribbon and it's prize. if you finish hard without finishing medium or easy award whichever is missing.
level 2 by iamdeath is buggy as hell. tried it a few times, watched the walkthrough, still cant get it to land between the purple U at the top. 50+ tries. this is ridiculous.
level 14 is retarded. 1v4 in a domination match ( as in you have to control the flags)... most of the time you will end up dead LONG before you hit the ground.
Juggling should NEVER be part of the requirement to be able to pass a level. It should be a game of strategy and wits. Not stupid amounts of buy sell the same two towers over and over again.
Some upgrades are SERIOUSLY needed.
miner's radar: shows the direction of the nearest mineral type of your choice that you have discovered. so you can change it to say iron to build those late game components, then switch it over to titanium to find those hard to get pieces.
minimap upgrades) Level 1. increase size (minimap shows more) 2. increase size 3. toggle mineral types on and off. eg i can shop showing emerald and ruby in my minimap. or i can just select titanium and lava to show. etc. 4. gives counter on remaining stuff on this planet. how many capsules, how many small/medium/large minerals, lava pockets 5. detailed counter. shows how many of each size and type of mineral, as well as depth of remaining capsules/aberrant matter/strange gloop.
ALSO the tutorial should mention that you can freely change planets.... I didn't know and spen't my first HOUR playing the same planet until all i could do was get down far enough to overheat and die.
Some of the stuff you have to do manually should be fixed.
a) autorepair/refuel on entry to the ship. dont force me to stand around outside. assume i left my mining craft right where it needs to be for the systems to work
b) auto teleport my inventory back to the ship. it should just empty. pretend i dumped it into the teleporter already. also repair/refuel me AT the location and only force me to go back if i want to access upgrades/crafting
I have no idea how you expect anyone to beat atropos without getting hit or without bombs. i just dont see it. especially when those two glowing balls basically sit right next to you and fire at you... i got up to that point with great difficulty.then one burst = dead
Ugh this game is so repetitive and so easy.
1. Find something that will repeat mouse clicks for you (to avoid RSI)
2.Keep spamming the teraform spell to max out the height of a single square... then the one next to it... and the ones around those etc until you have a giant base at maximum height away from sea level.
3. drown your enemies (or attack them) i say drown because whirlpool is THE best spell in the game simultaneously destroying their towns, the land it's built on, and drowning their people. once your town is big enough, you should be able to spam this nontop. simply find the tile closest to their base, place the whirlpool, wait for it to move, repeat. if they mount an offense at your base? drown their units. your base is so high above sea level it should be practically impossible for the AI to terraform to the height to make a slope to your base, meanwhile you can drown every single soldier they send at you.
3/5. too grindy and tedious to finish. the levels blend into each other and rarely require different strats once you have unlocked most of the creatures. getting all 360 stars is more a test of patience than difficulty. artificial difficulty on some of the bosses is redic as are some of the hungry mouth missions ( the ones where you get given units/wands instead of food/mana) most of my deaths were on those when it gave me horrible combinations
yet another of these "press attack to spend your energy" games. how many millions of these do we need? 1/5. nothing new or interesting here. i'd give it a negative score if i could.
talk about grindy and boring. same thing over and over and over.. grind for cash, buy upgrades, grind some more till you have most/all of the upgrades, kill the stupid boss.. repeat with the new ship? no thanks. all the "quests" are basically the same.
People have beaten the Boss Run without getting hit. It's all a matter of knowing how to dodge the attacks. And skill. Lots of skill.
