i love when the germans change tactics! there have been so many annoying vehicles and troops still around and then *poof* gone. like the germans hit the reset button
hmm maybe special abilities with a cool down instead of a number. ie molotovs only every few min, berserk mode greatly improving one survivor for a few seconds (maybe as a specific survivor skill if you give them names) melee skill (still take damage but kill zombies that reach you) stealth (zombies wont attack a survivor for X amount of seconds) maybe someone who can set up traps (from bear traps to improvised mines) things like that. there is a lot of room for this game to grow, but it has a decent foundation
also having characters with specific skill sets or bonus' in certain areas and names. after that you just need a more in depth story and you're golden. other idea's might include having a base in one store that you have to defend (I.E. where you keep your spare supplies) while going out on sorties through hordes to find more supplies/upgrades in other stores. its a fun simplistic game that i think could turn into an awesome game with improvements like these.
Here is my suggestion for improving this/making a sequal. first off I would add an expansion to the map and various bonus areas. example would be high ground giving 10 percent bonus to firepower, first aid station giving a bonus to healing / reduce healing cost to units nearby, etc etc. also i would like to see weapons specific upgrades, like from pistol to shotgun to automatic weapons. third i would like to see a campaign with people advancing from one area to the next, maybe finding more survivors as they go. Almost like in the last stand where you go from town to town, only maybe from one section of mall to next.
wow i survived another 12 waves because those same WESPES kept blowing up their own men while my driverless gunnerless halftrack sat right behind them, lol. oh and i got the ground controller ribbon without calling a single artillary strike
oh, AND i just got a crate containing a soldier. Too bad the crate landed so close to the top of the screen that i didnt even get to see what kind of soldier he was before he pressed on behind enemy lines. for all i know it was a mortar unit.
WTF wave 19 on a para wing try i call in my reinforcements after having only two para's land on screen in the beggining only to have 3 more die on the two trees and the other only having a springfeild fight a tiger tank AND a pak38. Can you say SCREWED? everytime ive called paratroops lately ive had at least one of them land off screen.
wow, that wasnt nearly as bad as everyone made it out to be. i finished in just over 15 min and with approx 40 lives. it was challenging but nearly as bad as everyone makes it out to be
