Having to pay gold to play as a female, and only a temporary unlock?
Temporary unlocks seem to plague this game, it's hardly a good investment to buy something that'll only last a week for a fair price paid.
Why are Doom reskins still a thing?
Doom wasn't challenging for any good reasons, it's only challenging because of bugs, poor computer-to-player feedback, and bad controls. As much as people fanboy over it, the fact is it's a bad game. Like, at least there should be separate keys for turning and strafing, although mouse is far better and more immersive.
@ccm
This shouldn't even be a parkour game. I saw this tagged as a puzzle game, but I got a parkour game with buggy controls, one of the worst combinations possible in gaming. 2/5 was a generous rating.
>long and boring run, because the gameplay is overly simplistic
>find new enemy
>way too tough
>lots of time to escape, but escape function is buggy
So how did this earn a 4.5 star rating again?
But random stuff is all part of the fun!
You can actually get some pretty cool stuff randomly.
I got a Legion capital that only has one mod: It launches miners. MINERAAAAALS
This game goes from not being fun for being too easy to not being fun because the enemy has the least-defendable-against capital ship in the game in less than a minute, while you're still getting your mining underway after getting a reasonable supply of energy.
The game can take an extremely long time to decide that the player has won or lost, sometimes even never.
I just won a skirmish, nothing happened, self destructed my base, nothing happened.
Major bug: Sometimes the boss fights generate in such a way that they're simply impossible. I got a case where I spawned in the middle of an asteroid field, very close to the enemy base, which had loads of missile launchers on the front line so that anything I built too far forward would be saved by no amount of Phalanx turrets. That meant that I didn't have sufficient space for defences, and given the amount of capital ships coming at me, nothing less than a couple Void Lancers would have done.
The two things that bug me in this game are the uselessness of aimed subs, and Anna's inability to aim ahead of targets. Aimed subs are no stronger if not weaker than regular subs on top of taking more effort to use, and Anna has to use her sub for fast horizontally moving enemies. Of course, I just like to play Nolegs all the time, because Shooting Star plus clever use of diamonds allows perhaps the highest DPS possible.
Can someone explain how the top 3 for 1-1 got their score? I had all handicaps but bullet clearing on, and still only got 10.8m. I'd imagine I might be able to get to 12 or 13 million if I had that last handicap and beat the level faster, but 18 million?
What this game has taught me: The better an archer someone is, the more likely they are to shoot an arrow at you. If someone claims to be good at archery, immediately run away in a zig-zag pattern.
Stairs are just so frustrating, I just had an encounter where there was a boss and 3 relatively powerful enemies waiting for me at the top. Died even though I tried to flee with a splash slow spell.
This game is awesome, yet everyone's complaining about the developer wanting to get some money for his work. If this game is profitable, or at least not too huge a waste of time and money, then we'll get to see chapter 3 sooner. And I'm pretty hyped for chapter 3.
Aimed subs are really good against bosses! Especially ones that have shields in front of them!
