Not a bad little game. Good physics. Looks like a good foundation for creating something really special.
I recommend researching the game Solar Jetman for the old Nintendo Entertainment System for ideas.
Neat little game. Could be improved with machine guns on the cars. ;-) It also seems a bit odd that you take damage if you t-bone another car, but aren't going fast enough to kill him.
The mage's "Flickering Flame" spell doesn't seem to work as described. Can anyone give any insight as to how it's supposed to work? It doesn't appear to do any damage reflection at all.
Could be improved by making the colors more distinct, and making the color of the moving blocks look more like the color of the target shape (level 6 is a good example of the coloring problem in the game). Not everyone sees similar shades the same way. :-(
Cool little game, but there's definitely lots of room for improvement.
Most battles can be won by continuously pumping out spearmen in a straight line and doing nothing else.
I think the main problem with the "difficulty" that so many people are commenting on has to do with the fact that the power level scaling for upgraded turrets is too steep. That is, your way better off upgrading a single turret to its maximum power rather than buying multiple turrets. The "return on investment" for money spent on upgrading turrets far outweighs that of buying new turrets. This is not immediately obvious to many, resulting in a lot of dissatisfaction.
This problem is further exacerbated by the fact that enemies have resistances to certain weapon types. This pushes the player to build more towers of varying types. Unfortunately, this *drastically* reduces the firepower-per-dollar spent by the player, and leads to frustration.
Reduce the strength of upgrades (which will necessitate the weakening of enemies, of course) and the game will be better (5 stars instead of 4 ;-), in my opinion.
