Ok, two things.
1. How the hell does he get back to where he started without being eaten by oncoming zombies? What, does he just push his 5 tonne armoured vehicle back with one arm, while fending off the rest of the zombies with his other? If so, then I applaud him. But that raises the question: why use the vehicles at all? Why not simply walk casually between the safehouses swatting away zombies with ease while occasionally sipping a cool beer?
2. Where is he getting all this money from? Does he find it in the crates? If he does then who puts the crates there? And, more importantly, if this benefactor has so much cash, why not just buy a helicopter, fly over to our hero, pick him up and be on their way?
Sorry, but this zombie apocalypse game does not meet my required standards of realism. 1/5
Sorry to be 'that guy' but seriously, 'coliseum'? it's not that hard to spell Colosseum people. I'm not gonna downrate it for that alone but I expect a bit more professionalism from bezerkstudio. It's not too much to ask to get spelling correct.
A way to describe this game is that no copies (that ive heard of) of the game have been released, even 3 years after its kong release. This is the only game off of the top of my head that has done that. Great game, incredibly unique gameplay.
Love this game and i especially like progression that you get when discovering the characters and what their specialities are. for the sequel though, dont increase the squad size, as i was finding myself spending a lot of time carrying out everyone's actions, and make it easier to level up as it is a grind to level up all the skills.
A nice touch some may have not noticed. They've made the screen smaller... very happy about that, as before i had to scroll up and down to get all the info i wanted.
thanks very much for making this game. now i know that whenever my brother is hogging the TV, ive always got smithereens mode right here waiting for me to let me while away an hour or two and 'forget' my homework. great work :)
i agree with iron penguin that it is nothing new or innovative, but then again it doesnt have to be and that doesnt necessarily make it a bad game, just an average one. Adding to this, i think the handling of the karts is too responsive, and not an accurate reflection of real go karts. although they are famed for having responsive steering its not this responsive. having said this it may not be the steering that is to blame. perhaps it is the crazy accelaration speed of going from a standing start to smoke coming from your tires in less than 2 seconds that makes them difficult to control. either way im going to rate it a 2/5 although i think a 5/10 would be a more accurate description.
Heheh =)
