Quite fun, however I played a ranger all the way until the Inn ambush. Didn't seem possible to do even with level matching those enemies. Respec'd to almost pure warrior, with points in the assassin crit. Last boss was laughable. Bash --> move, Bash --> move. Took like no damage
Towers are so basic when you think about the variety of enemies/enemy abilities you face. Why it was made without mix n match towers is beyond me. On a scale of terrible to amazing I'd give it a meh
Fun, abet I found it on the easy side. Never needed the explosive fields or had to deal with barricade repairs. Stuck with a rifle throughout the entire game. Once I had the remmy and the grenade launcher all bets were off. Make sure you use an assistant so you can fire while you get the free reload. Got max shooters right away.
Extremely refreshing in light of all the flash game clones that keep getting churned out. For the most part, it is pretty easy but it is very rewarding to get better and better. The only real issue I see is that it need more of a tutorial and I still don't know what to do with extra "Skill" points I have after getting all the skills. I hope a squeal is in the works
This shit was dope af. Took me to the third to the last mission to realize that i could straight up buy the items next to the slot machine. i thought they were a preview for potential item rewards. immmmm dumb lol
Not as enjoyable as tower defense games that allow you to build where you want (obviously not blocking paths). I know its the style this series does but just personal preference. While it was fun, a few enemies were just obnoxious like having groups of the ones that disabled towers, in maps where you had to burn mana on even being able to build due to the blocking towers. The enemies that spawned new enemies when killed were the worst. I was consistenly able to kill the 'host' before they got to the jewels, but the one that it spawned often times would be just close enough to touch the jewel, so no 3 star. Overall was mediocre as far as fun goes, a few cheap mechanics lost a lot of the enjoyment for me.
When the skeleton king does the double attack, the animation looks like he is unloading his special sauce if you know what I mean. Might want to take a look at adjusting either the model size or something
Awesome game. I poured a ton of time into it and loved almost every second of it. The well designed characters and story made this feel like more than just a flash type game. The only thing that made me sad is doing new game + is locked behind a paywall. Fun side note: I kept forgetting what the slime cat teleports were called so my brain kept calling them squish cats. That is now their name forever in my head.
so you can't do endurance mode without kreds. really? maybe its a level thing but if that is behind a paywall I would be really disappointed as I have enjoyed the previous installments of this game
