One of the best TDs I've played but I have a few suggestions:
1. Toggle speed button would be useful.
2. Interface gets in the way slightly for item pickups and leveling up arrow on the far right of the screen, perhaps have them appear further to the left than normal at these locations.
3. Occasionally everything but the level disappears and the game stops responding, only seen this happen after a few levels when my internet connection has cut out.
4. Way to set tower priority would be good or at least auto priority on enemies with gems.
5. Better method for picking up, sometimes you have to waste scrolls to pick up mana or coins. Perhaps a button or skill to auto pickup mana and coins.
6. Ability to decrease detail level.
7. More levels!
8. Would be good to have more skills to customize spells for example increasing power, radius, duration etc. I know this would be a massive pain in the ass for balancing but would be good if you did a sequel.
Points seem pretty much meaningless, would be good to get something for your score other than achievements. Even if it was just to unlock another character.
Starting to get a little bored with the environments and enemies as I'm sure a lot of people are so new ones would be an interesting upgrade.
Special skills would be good for characters such as double jump or replacing shadow scroll with unique abilities.
This is a bit of a log shot but using this as the basis for a music game like Audiosurf would be freaking awesome :)
Perhaps bosses as well?
As everyone else has said, too much grinding. Checkpoints and items would help a lot. Also minor nitpick. Projectile motion is relative to the screen rather than the background, you can see this when you charge whilst a shaman's projectile is in mid-air.
I love this game. Gonna stop before I have a seizure though. I've got a couple of ideas though.
3rd person, be cool to be able to see what you're flying.
Multiplayer racing. Keep the constant acceleration but have to start from 100 again when you crash.
More tracks or algorithm options such as track/tube diameter, colour schemes and which obstacles appear.
Physics damage. Might be hard to implement but it would be awesome to see a hole smashed through the level when you crash based on your speed.
Recording, would be cool to record the flights, possibly save them as AVIs.
I know this would be ambitious as hell but I'd pay money for this game if you could do it.
Great little game, too short for my liking though. In a way I prefer this to tower defense games because it runs so smoothly. Perhaps a multiplayer mode in the sequel and multiple plant types?
(2) First time I played I did 7 first time I played and 9 this time. As it stands I probably won't play again unless it's to show a friend due to the lack of save function. I don't care if I have to adjust the mouse sensitivity and change to costume B again but I don't want to have to reply levels again just to get through the final door.
I understand that this is just a preview but the graphics are a bit too samey. Hopefully this will be resolved in the final version. I'd also like to see a bit more verity in game-play. Perhaps co-op, time attack etc.
As it stands if these could be implemented I'd pay money for this game but it would be nice to add a bit more depth to the controls and game play such as powerups, pushing blocks with physics, objects which smash if they are landed on or dropped from enough height, leveling up system, more characters etc.
Anyway keep up the good work, I think you've got something pretty special here.
(1) To anyone reading this who doesn't have the Unity player already, download it. Download it NOW and don't give me any excuses! If you're low on hard disk space delete irreplaceable photos of your dead relatives if you have to.
It's worth it for this game alone.
Anyway I have to mirror the sentiments of StefanTadic. This is better than a helluvalotta full games out there. Graphics are crisp and clear, concept is excellent, controls work well enough, no glitches so far. it's difficult enough without being frustrating and instead of holding your hand, telling you things which are blindingly obvious it lets you figure things out by yourself which really makes you feel smart. I honestly can't think of a game with a better difficulty curve.
That being said he's some hopefully constructive feedback based on what I've seen so far.

I'll send you a PM, hopefully we can figure this out.
