The only thing that's not explained (I'm almost certain what it does, but I don't like not knowing as some games do it the other way) is whether things like Extra damage is what's given to enemies if you wear it, or given to the hero from enemies if you wear it. I'm pretty sure it's to the hero, but like I said, I don't like not knowing for sure.
Vertical speed means up and down. Then why is it, when I hurtle my rocket straight down and give it enough speed to unlock those speed quests does it not unlock? Forcing your rocket down at insane speeds should be enough to count towards total speed.
I came to this game fully expecting to hate it. I must say that I was pleasantly surprised. Normally I'm terrible at these games, so it makes me frustrated and I hate them. But this one was so well done that I HAVE to give it a high rating. I never felt overwhelmed with the waves, nor did I feel they were too repetitious. I also loved the attention to detail. If you use a medal to buy the bunny bio's the information in them is far beyond what they really needed to be. On top of that the sound effect for shooting changes whether you hit a bunny or the ground, letting you know when you're striking and when you're just wasting bullets. It's helped me realize that there are NOT actually any more bunnies just yet in the wave. That would have made it a 4/5 for me, but then... BUNNY AIDS!! Yeah, 5/5 for me.
What the...? What?! I don't even get it. There's nothing to the story. There's no beginning, no reason why random people are stuck in a cage, no real depth to who this "guy" is that's keeping everyone locked up or why. How did you get there? How in the heck are you just flying away unless you're actually supposed to be a bird. And why are you flying away in the dream state rather than the regular state? Nothing was explained. Just a bunch of words cobbled together to attempt to make a game. Very nice art, I really loved it even though everything was so far away, but besides that it didn't make a lick of sense.
@Siliti I always find it's worthwhile to push buttons I find in a game. Which lead me to pushing "Buy Packs" button, which is where you go to spend your gold. Items/units comes inside of packs. Once one is bought it will open and give you your random items. You can even change between Heroes and Ashes packs.
For everyone that's complaining about how there's no reset badge, there is. It's in the launch screen. The buttons are: Pause, Mute, Restart and Armor Games. Restart will take you back to the menu and start your launches all over again.
The mega shield upgrade makes you invincible. Except if you hit spikes. Or falls down. Or hits a wall. So it protects you from bullets and lasers. Which, to me, makes it so the "mega" is taken out of it and just makes into a shield. A mega shield would protect you from more. If not bashing into things then at least spikes. Come on.
@chubawuba. Once you have enough fuel on the screen where you can buy powerups with gems before the level starts you can also click on one of the jetpack upgrades. This will let you skip anywhere from 1/4 of a stage to all of it, depending on fuel consumption. Survival is different as you go X amount of meters instead as you're just trying to go as far as you can as fast as you can and survive.
What I'd really love is if the skills evolve as the creature does. That way even the starting creatures can get nice, powerful abilities that keep them useful if you really don't want to try and mix and match and find a better combination than what you've already got. Because, honestly, I like the team I have, but it's too difficult to continue with them up to further floors considering they don't get nice, new abilities further into their evolution forms.
I tried to play this, to see what it was about, and I couldn't even do that. I lasted about two minutes in the game, making two or three decisions, when it wouldn't let me make any more of them. I tried to refresh and all I got was "Unable to resolve the server's DNS address." I keep refreshing and I keep getting this. I don't even know what the hell it is or how I'm supposed to fix it. Crap. All of the crap, I must say.
Here's my suggestion for the game. Have an option as to whether or not to turn off the auto-turn ending. As there may be times when you want to remove one of your allies from the field to make way for something else to come into range, and you can't use the shovel if your turn ends, I would like such an option in the game. It might be tiresome to have to always end my turn myself, but if I really need to get rid of an ally and have no cards at zero, I can't do that until I DO have a card at zero. And by then it might be too late.
Twice now, on puzzles 2 and 5, it has not considered me as "solving" them, even though I did. I do not like this bug as it takes so long to make the thing in its entirety. And it doesn't help that it erases my latest save since I "solved" it without actually getting credit for the solve.
If a treasure chest says zero it shouldn't have to be opened with a key combo. It should automatically just release. Either that or you should have the base of it be one, to never go below zero.
Thanks, chests and doors appearing with 0 requirement was a bug and is fixed in 1.03, they should always require at least 1. (which of course translates into 1 match of 3 or more)
Come on. It's one thing to ask for things that can be got to by researching, but having them ask for things from people who don't even work in my shop?! All they have to do is look around to see I don't have an armorer on staff. That I can't have anyone make that.
Whomever the idiot is that wrote the guide to this that you can get to by clicking the in-game link is just that: An idiot. F is not change weapons, E is. S is not for running, Shift is. And there seems to be no punching. It might be that the guide is for Thing-Thing 2, NOT Thing-Thing Arena 2.
As far as puzzle games like this go, this was fairly easy to complete. I found no real challenge in any of the levels. Good game, but lacking any hard puzzles.
A full team of 600 hull ships with me having the ships one lower than them plus one "fast" ship makes THEM the weaker team and attacks me first? That makes a WHOLE lot of sense. -_-
Hints for this game: If you buy and sell the same products the prices will increase and the profits will decrease after each purchase and sell. Supply goes up, demand goes down. To help with this buy other things, sell those, mix it up. It will bring up the sale right of the other things for every other thing you buy and sell. Upgrading the ships: While it's true that you have to study every thing to get to all the upgrades, there's a trick you can pull off that makes them cheaper to buy with money. If there's a similar upgrade that's further along the upgrade tree you can buy that and it will buy the other upgrade without costing more money and you DO get credit towards your ship stats for the others.
