the perfect solution to this game - dont never ever increase magic skill ( its 10 from the start ) , only increase melee skill and armor and magic resist. at very first try to increase construction as much as possible along with exploration , then learn , then scavenge , use alter job for golds . remember to equip swords with only greater melee attack cos u aint using that crap they call spell casting. the rest is up to u as per ur personal wishes and requirements . enjoy
p.s. - i am in position of giving advice cos i am at week 823 and apart from mercantile all stats are 4 digits !!!! all piety and prestige weapons are brought and the power potions are good.

If u r looking for a strategy based adventure game , u came the right place . this 2nd part is way better than the 1st part . the game definitely needs badges . otherwise ENJOY !!!!!!!!
