wth.. 6th try and i beat atropos. its not as hard as u guys said. -_- jus put 1 shield and thats it. you jus have to read the screen. -_-. don't be afraid to follow atropos circling the screen.
Would be great if we can customize: Costume, Weapons (even the animations/visuals of the bullets would be great), and perhaps limitations of the skills/upgrades to have certain type of villains: powerful short range villains, fragile long-range villains, or high-endurance barrier kind of villains.
NEW ERA COMPLETED WOOOOOHOOOO 1 SECOND BEFORE 4 minutes, one of my allies killed Raze Soldier whom I've inflicted like major double damage rapid fire rocket launcher combo+ katana. WOOT im such a beast
protips: STR+3 is the best modification stats for equips since it adds ur base damage. the 3 demons (on the bottom of the map) are good to clear up hard levels early (I went for demons mercenary later in the game, proved useless coz they blocked my movements). For skills, go for 1 AoE spell (me, iceblast), 1 crit strike (me, zombie wrath), 1 Ice Slash (its almost better than stun), and 1 stun spell (STUN STOMP ftw). for equipments, always be patient for 1700 Gold for GODLY GIANT's XXXX. Don't waste ur time on others except for early game where its hard to clear Medium-levels.
Just beaten the dragon via Divine Edge + 1 Gold Voucher. Right after that, a lifespan shrine, and after that? ANOTHER DRAGON. fml. so much for my "perfect" run
Rather than tiri23's Divine Fire build, I'd rather have Ice + Fire. Slowed opponents +30% damage is already +30% damage by itself when you put Icebolt (which has a larger AoE) as X (in exchange of Ice Nova). Spam it and also increase ice damage + mana regen. This way, you have even more damage than Chosen One + Fireball mastery. And above all, the reason I chose ICE over DIVINE is that you will be able to outrun any opponent. Use Ice's +% MS mastery at the very bottom, and with the slow MS from Iceball + AoE Ice, you'll be outrunning all your opponents. I didn't even use Heal for 750 Survival.
as an indonesian myself, these are my takes on this Epic War version: Needs an upgrade that does not only gives the unit skills, but levels in general. By putting a leveling system on each unit, more grinding is required, and the possibilities are endless. Then, try to have each hero to have their own specialized unit: say, Skull Knight gives Death the ability to have an extended reach/critical strike, and Queen gives elves additional arrow or imbued arrows. Last, try to have the hero to actually be useful during the last part of the games, but not imbalanced. Try making them either a tank, a sniper, or a commander who casts spells (mages/healers). Try different ways to configure your units. That way, each character, each hero, and each unit can be different: a machine-gun archer, an archer that has low quantity of units but have arrows that can pierce through enemies, or an archer that uses skills (arrow volley/shower continuously).
(1.)each character should not have their own basic stats growth because it disrupts the whole mechanic of "you can customize your own characters into three different skilltress". Every character should have their stats customizable. (2.) Have runes/orbs that can customize epic armors/weapons/whatnot, this further develops the customization of each character(3.) The bosses should have been given the ability to summon creatures, so that its harder. This way, each character's roles should be more efficient than just buff/attack.. (4.) Magic damage and physical damage should have been given the choice to be infused via a skill/rune/whatevs. This way we could have rogue/mage, rogue/healer or warrior/healer, warrior/mage build.
