Everyone is saying it is Mel Gibson. They're just following Shift 3's instructions to say it was Mel Gibson and not reveal the fact that it really is Tony Hawk.
The reason Multiplayer isn't coming back is because of the so-great leaders of the galaxy which can kill two enemy superstations at any one time would be dead meat for hackers. If hackers are reading this, then please stop. Hack non-multiplayer games! THAT WOULD BE NICE INSTEAD OF THEIS GREAT GAME
Walkthrough
Level one: click on the device thingy on the bottom left hand corner.
Level two: Travel through rooms surronding map switching switches to horisontal as u go
Level three: go to different rooms clicking on the submachine thing until the thingy in top right shines a green light.
Go to the room reference (if the machine said 23 go to 2,3 as indicated by navigation thingy) keep going.
