Everyone is saying that this is an interesting concept, but I can't even figure out how to start the game. On both Chrome and Firefox, I click start, choose the little man, click on newb, close the tutorial, click roll, and choose two dice. Then it appears that the 'Take Action' button is active, but I can't click it. I can surrender and start over, open help, click the buy potion button (even though I have no gold), and adjust the volume. But I can't click Take action or anything else on the screen. It looks like there is a pale colored overly taking up the middle 3rd or so of the screen that might be a layer above the Take Action button and thus I can't get to it. Also, not sure if this matters, but I am on a 4k screen and everything is REALLY tiny. (Literally pulled up the magnifier in order to read much of the text.
Sorry to hear that you're having issues with game, can you let me know if there are any errors in the web console? If there's a pale overlay then there's maybe the surrender/help/end game popup isn't being closed correctly. Also I'm afraid I can't help with the game size, since it's built for web it's built to be roughly 800x600px.
Is there an actual game or is it just tutorial? Get resources, spend resources on more units to get more resources, upgrade units to better units to get more units to get more resources. This is every game ever made this way. Nobody needs 10 minutes of tutorial for that. I'm not going to suddenly have more fun because I've been forcefully introduced to every minor feature of the game. Rant over... constructive criticism time... It would be nice to have the ability to opt out of the tutorial.
What is going on here? First, I have no idea what any of my choices mean. Second, the text is scrolling so quickly I am unable to follow the action. Third, I just turned Auto to ON and I guess I won? Fourth, It gives me a nice big arrow and says to upgrade my stats, but when I click on a thing I want to upgrade, it just flips immediately back to the default when I purchase, so am I supposed to be able to make a selection? I guess I just keep spam clicking purchase/continue until I can't click purchase anymore... am I upgraded now? So what is this??? Somewhere in all the quick scrolling text, bright colors, and confusion are robots playing sports or something?
got to lvl 40 and the floating head thing hit 0/75k but its hitbar remained floating in air... it's like he didn't "die" when he hit 0 hitpoints. Thus, the tent remained invincible and I was forever stuck... tried going back a level then returning to lvl 40 to do it again... no luck
Ah you are right, forgot to add a function to the Eyes animation. Thank you for picking that up, but, hopefully, I can assume that besides this bug given that you are alredy lvl 40 that you are enjoying it xd
The new version should have it fixed
Is this an idle game? Seems like one of those pay-or-wait type of games. I typically don't think of an idle game as requiring user input in order to advance. This game, however, does require user input after long wait periods. So yeah, I guess technically you're 'idle' for much of the time, but only because of waiting so long that it's silly. Oh well. I guess you'd not pull people in to play if your description said, "Start your own wait-or-pay adventure!"
Hello,
I see you don’t really like the idea of wait activities, so I have decided to prepare an update that will make them click activities (of course with upgrades and stuff). Also, sorry for making the micro transactions system so intrusive, it will be fixed too. Be ready for big changes in the upcoming days.
Over all, it's fine as a basic match 3 game. Just a couple points of feedback. 1. Allow drag'n'drop swaps. 2. I made sure nothing was muted and even turned up my volume but couldn't hear any sound. 3. Have more transition animations. It would be more fulfilling to watch the little guys pop or swirl out of exists or something than having them just NOT be there and watch the game board adjust. Also, when more then one row is eliminated in a move due to the fall, I'd like to be able to see that. Last thing on the transitions, when the board gets into a "no available moves" state, then tell me and let me watch the transition.
After a bit, getting back to where you were takes a while and is terribly boring. I got 1.5o reset points, took 5 seconds to spend it all, and now I've got to sit here and babysit the game in order to get back where I was. Perhaps an "auto-buy" perk or something would be nice?
Nice... so there's just some random spot somewhere that you'll need to get lucky to find. Also, even though it doesn't appear dirty at all, you should just intuitively rub a rag over it. I love this genre, but this uninspired garbage you and a couple other places keep pumping out daily into Kong is just really, really sad.
Holding the Enter key is also useful if you don't want to take the time to deal with the huge amounts of dialogue and simply wish to play the puzzles. Would be kind of nice to have a "just play the puzzles" button. That all being said, the bits of the story that I've paid attention to make it seem interesting... so maybe I'll play again and actually pay attention to it in more detail when I have more time.
The Dev of this game is twisted! I find this game impossible to finish. I also find it impossible to begin. The black screen that I encounter upon page load must be the first challenge, but I can't find my way past it.
so yeah, it was great for all except the 8 coconut grind... and of course the game auto-pauses, so you can't even just flip to something else while you wait... since the game is so short, it means I spent about half of the play time waiting... but otherwise, it was good
lol... "Tap" the screen... so what if you're using a mouse? it seems the little guy takes off and just slams into a building... the controls blow dude... maybe don't submit a mobile game for PC play without considering your control scheme?
Wait... so the game mechanic is to intentionally make the player open the doors in the correct order and then start over again completely if they don't. Just doing the same thing over and over again trying to memorize the door order? That's basically the whole game then, right? Hrm...
