hated this game. very glitchy control - maybe it's my old computer, but still, horribly annoying. also- i kept getting stuck on the underside of platforms.
This is why Protector sucks: You spend 20-30 minutes on one level trying to beat it and you end up losing by one or two lives at the end and get nothing to show for your time and effort. #3 is no different than #2 or #1. Sick of the same maps, the same confusing leveling system, the same limitted types of units. Deserves a 2/5.
Beat the game but still haven't unlocked the last card. Anybody know what I have to do to unlock it?
As for you guys whining about the difficulty, I kind of liked the challenge. Sure it's unfair, but that makes you strategize a little more to claw your way to victory. For the hard campaign, try reducing your deck to 75 cards and maxing our resource cards and sacrifice resource cards so you have a better chance of drawing them...that way you can get the upper hand with resources.
Love the game, but the autosave feature is not working for me either (and looking at past comments, I'm not the only one). 1/5 until the autosave actually works.
Has the potential to be a top 5 game, but way too many things need to be fixed. Computer is too hard. Your guys can get stuck under the buttons (put the buttons off the battlefield), can't see your guys under bunkers and trees, no pause button, a better intel screen to explain what everything does would be nice (instead of having to play for 5 minutes to get enough points to buy something, only to have it destroyed 1 minute later by a grenade thrown from half way accross the battlefield). Oh yeah...how is this one different from the first?
Of course this game is a lot like Fantastic Contraption. But in case you didn't notice, this game is way more complex and has way more possibilities. Some suggestions, though:
-- Make it possible for sliding joints to start in extended position.
-- Connecting lines would be nice (kind of like Fantastic Contraption).
Absolutely HORRIBLE. Soooo slow and boring. Watching the vidoes was like watching a really bad soap. The puzzles were unoriginal. And to top it off, the ending froze up. How could anyone give this 5/5? Worst critics ever. This game is bad...it's okay to admit it.
I beat the last level and clicked on next level and it just showed a screen of bubbles and I couldn't do anything. Small glitch. Otherwise an awesome game. Best of the best, even though the controls could be improved a bit.
