What do resources do? Is there a way to sell them on Earth?

random nitpick: I'm pretty sure you can't get demoted from major to sergeant

It won't let me make new guns anymore

Making us spend mana to activate upgrades was poor design decision. All it does is add a period in the beginning where I do nothing but fire arrows to get enough mana to activate my upgrades
