I trap him, think " Oh man! I'll go get food!" I gget up, start to leave, look back, and he's dead. Wish i could have hit him with my Magilancers. ( both maxed)

Now, i have the quest to get the heartstone. i have been all over in the cave, and killed 50+ guards, hoping the shard was a drop. Anyone know what to do now? I have cured zombieism, made a new civilization, defeated a portal that makes mutant zombies, cleared the streets, prevented new zombies from being made at all, and shot more zombies than I did in Last Stand.
