@yaykitties, I think the difference between the light/medium/heavy armour is that they all have different blacksmithing upgrade stats. So heavy upgrades defence + protection, whereas medium upgrades HP + protection and light upgrades HP + defence.
@mexen0, when you are reborn your level get's reset. Every level you get +1 AP, and each level requires more & more exp. So if you keep rebirthing yourself to age 17, you can get lots of AP quickly. That's the purpose of rebirth :)
Has anyone else noticed that the developers couldn't even be bothered writing their own descreption, so just took someones review of it? Heck, not even all of the review - only the positives: http://www.insidesocialgames.com/2012/07/24/dawn-of-darkness-glory-calling-review/
The thing I hate about every single one of these "facebook" games, is the stupid energy requirements. A game is meant to be PLAYED. It's so frustrating not being able to do anything. I can't grind for the materials to upgrade my gear, nor can I even gain a level 'cause all my quests are up to date so far. This would have been a great game if the energy didn't exist.
@Orlop, the arena is designed so that you can only fight critters who are the same level as your highest active critter or lower, and Wilford doesn't switch critters - so you can destroy him with your elements. It's the same for the critters outside - they are the level of your highest active critter. It's only unbalanced once you unbalance your own team.
Nice game, although it was a tad easy. Once I got the warrior pact early on in the game, the pirates and archers just walked through everything. The 'dragon' at the end though was tough. It's a good thing priests can attack, else I would have lost :p. Looking forward to a sequel :D
Am I really that much of an idiot.. I've played this game around 8 times now, and I've only just realised that different weapons give different hidden stats:
Spear - 16 *Crit
Axes - 10 Chop
Blades - 21 *Crit
Daggers - 8 *Crit
Hammer - 10 proc
Some tips for the bosses:
Sword Boss - Probably the easiest, the only difficult part is when he strikes you once, then lots of times in a row. Make sure you block once he starts attacking multiple times
The Fire Boss - Run away from him once he starts going on fire
The Lightening Boss - He'll start to turn yellow, once he does, run! He can easily take half your life off with a lightening bolt in the center.
The Chaos Boss - He doesn't have anything special, but he does have a lot of life - use as many as your stun attacks to get rid of the two heads, and then just play it safe by attacking then blocking.
Why is everyone hating on runescape? Yes it has crap graphics, so what? Jagex has been having many, many updates to make the graphics better. And so what if this game is only a link to the website, people can support Kongregate by playing on here instead of on the offical runescape site, and since theres a runescape chat room, you can easily find help and talk to others. And don't rate the game crappy because of just the first couple of levels, atleast get to level 30 before you rate it, then it'd be a more accurate rating instead of giving it a 1/5 just because of the graphics.
