Well, I have many of the same observations as others, too slow, too many buttons to push to just do simple commands and there seems to be a serious lack of funding coming in.
Just think about your tactics and adjust... Try new things and you will find what works for you.
D-man, try staying under the 6 men limit for enemy arty/air support until you have a net to put members of your squad under. Try to remain aware of how many men are visible and keep it 6 or less.
CeruleanDragon, quickly send your squad into the cover of your Bunkers when any Tanks appear, then Call Arty and taunt as often as you can until all armor has been destroyed.
Redeploy whats left of your men, if you have any, and be ready to go again when more armor arrives.
Vidar, use tactics to avoid grenades. They only throw them down screen, it's not that hard to avoid them.
Yugo, Hasty Defense is not a ribbon, it is the first Operation you can get to besides the regular Deployment.
Click on the OPS button on the Main Page and it will be the button farthest left at the bottom of the screen.
You'll need to be at least a Captain to try it.
Yinyang, that is a common occurence.
You need to keep your SpecOps from fighting by contimually clicking on him with Order 21 to keep him from throwing grenades while your scout is out in front of him.
Better yet, send the SpecOps with him to provide covering fire.
I think DMans comment about the upper left corner has more to do with Mortarmen and MGs hiding behing the buttons.
The new menu really speeds things up for me, you just need to familiarize yourself with what numbers lead to which orders...
