PART 2: 3) Lastly, skills. Needs a huge new list of skills, to make each class more interesting. Same comparison, all RPG's have a progression of new abilities and skills as you get further into the game. Keeping the game fresh and fun.
Good luck! I look forward to seeing new updates.
Great game. A few suggestions: (PART 1:) 1) Firstly, what is the biggest thing about RPG's that make them fun? Think Diablo, think Final fantasy. Think of any RPG, what makes them want you to keep pushing and grinding for more? The answer?: Loot, gear, equipment. lots of it. Create a tier'ed loot system.. making each raid open up a farmable list of gear. Make a few items rare within that raid.. will make people want to keep doing that raid more, to find that special item on that raid. Each new raid opens up a new tier of gear. etc.
2) Someone else already suggested it.. but I'll 2nd it. Class upgrades. Think Final Fantsy 1. the original. Half way through the game , classes could evolve into new classes. Warrior becomes a Knight. White Mage becomes a White wizard etc. Allow for each Classes to evolve into something new, opening up new abilities. OR make it so by hitting level 100 with Fighter.. you unlock a NEW class type. Allowing you to change it. Something like that.
Can someone post an image of their reactor AFTER the patch from the latest update? An image that is viable to use Nefastium tier cell's? Has anyone found a strategy to use Quad Nefastium cell's yet? Please post a pic ..
Love the game.. hate that it`s not finished.. Why put so much love and soul into the game.. if your not going to complete it? It`s obvious you love you work. You love genre. The fact you've added so many customizations show's how much love you have for it. Finish your work. You could have an amazing game here. I say "could" because it is not finished. And that's really a sad thing. :(
The game got too big for the Flash program to handle. Flash isn't meant for such a big game. It lags when I work on the game, making development very slow.
If I could have finished it, I would've.
Suggestion: It is too overpowered to drink a potion after every room. It would be more of a challange and more I fun I think, if you only had 1 potion (perhaps with the option of buying a 2nd.. but no more).. and it is automatically used if you go below 0 hp`s. I think that would fix the issue of the dungeons being too easy, and force people to grind a bit, for better gear to defeat a dungeon. It is called Dungeon Farmer after all.
From what I can gather.. has 2 endings.. both found within a few seconds.
Honestly why upload this at all? It`s sortof pointless. Build on it first.. get some story sort of story going. It needs to last longer then a few seconds.
Not sure if this is a bug.. but the multi-fire ability says "For each level gain 1 more to maximum fireballs" ... I have mine at lvl 5, but when I activate with SpaceBar, I still only get 2 fireballs only.
My one and only complaint , is how short the game was. I loved every moment of it and only wish I could keep playing! I really hope a sequel is in the works.
Question: (Please PM me the answer if someone knows).
-Is there a max level for Paladog? Or can I eventually get all the skills for him, by grinding more level ups? I am trying to determine if I have to be careful what skills to pick when Paladog levels up, or if there is no max level, then I can eventually unlock them all.
Thanks, Zanatar.
Here's another suggestion that maybe can be added in a future sequel or version. I'd like for the dungeons to have more of a maze, dungeon feel. And less of a grid. It feels more like a grid , as most rooms have 4 exits. I'd like to see more of a tunnel type exploration. Such as having small co-corridors and sometimes having large rooms. Perhaps adding secret passages. Think Wizardry series or even something like the old ROGUE style dungeons . So much potential to this game and future updates. Keep up the great work!
Here's a simple suggestion that I would love to see added. Simply add a variety of chest types. Right now we have just one Chest type. I think it would be fun if you could chance upon more rare chest types. Like a progression .. Wooden Chest, Medal Chest, Silver Chest, Gold Chest. Each type being a bit rarer to find. Of course the loot you find should be proportionate to the rarity of the chest you find. It would just add a slightly new layer of depth to the game, making it that much more fun to explore the dungeons (hoping you'll find the ultimate type of chest during the decent into the dungeon. Please Plus if you like this suggestion.
I agree with GhostShogun. I am having the same issue with beating "The Big Guns. 4 Waves /58 Units : Very Hard" mission . This is driving me crazy. I have tried with the sniper ship. I have tried with the Shock and Awe. I have tried with the 30k "Crusher" Ship, and I fail on each one. Each time I can get to the final stage, but when you face 2 or 3 of those huge shielded ships with the Huge circular electrical sphere's they shoot. It's impossible. I also think you need to destroy the little ships around it that cause it to be shielded. I still can't beat it. I'm hoping someone has a strategy I'm overlooking.
Suggestion. Please have you skills reset when you die. It sucks to use a skill such as Slice and Dice , that has 240 round cool down, to be just at the start of a cooldown after Death. Especially if your trying to take on a tough mob that kills you quickly. Having that cooldown remain after death gimps you from being able to retry for awile.
There is a REALLY nasty bug on the arena mode. Your backpack does not work. It opens but if you find an item, it does not go in the backpack. Another words you cannot loot any items in the Arena mode with this bug as it is. Please fix this.
Another bug is when you click on any vendor NPC, it first opens your backpack then you have to click the NPC again to open his shop. This makes it impossible to open the potions NPC, as the backpack opens over him and you cannot click on him a 2nd time.
Both these bugs only happen in Arena mode. Please fix this. It's otherwise an amazing game. 5/5
