Overall, a very good game. The only part that really bothers me is that in a "physics" game when the events are non-repeatable. Having to throw away attempts because I know before hand it won't behave the same way is stupid. Whatever the issue is, it seems every other attempt will act the same though.
Lag at higher levels is horrible and overall, the new "features" just make the game feel too complex and clunky compared to the original. I like the original but I can't say I care for the sequel at all.
Good game, but needs the "basics" like menus, level select and saving progress to get more than 3/5 from me. Personally, sound doesn't matter as I'd just turn it off to listen to my own music anyway.
Some type of autosave or detection if you've beat the game already needs to be in. I'd lost my connection to Kongregate so when I beat it the first time around it didn't count and now I have to go back like 5 levels to where I last saved manually.
There's an issue with rewind. It doesn't reset perfectly because before and after you can get very different end results. May be overall repeatability though which is an issue. The exact same setup and two different results isn't good.
The lag is much better though it seems to come back after you've played for a while. I just beat Clive on hard mode and didn't get credit for the hard badge. Like others, it was checked when I first came back to the game but it won't give me the badge now that I actually did it.
I don't think the lag is CPU or memory related but something else with game itself (trying to constantly access disk maybe?) I was lagging to the point of unplayability but only using 40% of the CPU, and 30% of my RAM.
The idea for the game is good but the execution is horrendous. The field of play is too small and too cluttered. The background is annoying, distracting and in many cases down right nauseating with the high speed spinning.
The music needs to be permanent, the first I thing I want to do is turn that annoying shit off and half the time you die because of it. Not being able to turn off the rest of the sound is really annoying too.
I've killed the Shadow guy at least 5 times now and I still can't get credit for the Illuminator badge. Nothing I do will seem to give me credit though I have all the others.
