Am I the only one who thinks the Visitor looks kinda cute somewhat?

Is this game meant to have any kind of (at least a little bit) of creepy aspects? I mean, you're a fox going through woods. Personally though, when you pray at the temples, the man in the red robe kind of creeps me out. (Its my first time playing it)
