The only thing I would like to see changed is the size of the buttons for summoning units and using spells. Maybe even get rid of the unit buttons once you have started since they serve no other purpose during raids. A solid game though, an obvious 5/5.
This is certainly a more captivating MMO than dream world. Great style on the backdrops, and whilst the simplicity is good I kind of want to see more skills. But that would defeat the point.
"A cutting edge game that pushes the limits of online entertainment". I laughed my testicles off at that one, although I am assuming it was the greatest execution of sarcasm on the internet.
Whilst I like the idea of the game, there are a lot of small things that spoil it. Spelling mistakes ('quite' instead of 'quit'), no freeplay mode and a lack of explanation of the rules. Some things to improve: 1) consider a different menu that has buttons for settings, game modes and rules of the game. 2) freeplay mode. Having the timer made the game more frustrating and doesn't really make it any more enjoyable. Modify the difficultly by board size or the number of resets and hints available. There can be a timed mode that is the same as the current game. 3) Clearly explain the rules. I tried to match two wings that were clearly not blocked but could not be matched for no logical reason. It was also not clear that you can make matches along the outer edge by ignoring the play area completely, although even this didn't work all of the time.
3/5 from me, but could have been higher if it was more polished.
Some more colour would have been nice, console shooters have enough grey in them to last a lifetime. I found the missions to be a bit short though, although having enemies appear in different places on each run through was a great touch. The problems with the challenges freezing/lagging for no obvious reason did ruin it a bit.
