sorry for the double post but, I don't think bad luck justifies two enemy direct hits on my units in the trenches in a row, followed by one machinegun INSTANTLY killing 3 riflemen squad...
I noticed the "war is unfair" but I still call bullshit on the enemy being able to deploy a mortar strike faster than a player with cooldown drop. Actually, way faster. About twice before you get yours up. I've seen them use two in 30 seconds. Too effective for them to turtle. In fact, as of level 2 the game becomes nigh unwinnable if your luck is bad. One would think the upgrade LOWERS artillery accuracy...
great game, but ugh. Felt very repetetive (level 5 after the first world...with only a few more tiers of weapons and shields), and didn't have enough upgrades, guns, shields, levels, or depth to merit the length of it.
overall really good, HOWEVER, jumping felt completely unresponsive, often causing me to have to run levels dozens of times over since I literally ran into obstacles I should have jumped over.
alright, but I'll be honest, the system, while original, didn't afford the precision required for much of the content past sector 8. EG jumping between platforms in sector 10, or sector 12
Advice: Shotgun is, in general, more useful than the standard AK-47. It's more cost effective to buy, in order: Dual pistols, dog, armor, shotgun, second dog, second armor, dual shotguns, final armor, final dog, miniguns.
Furthermore: DESTROY. CARS. The boosts they give you are absurdly useful, and the chainsaw can net you over a hundred quick kills.
Modestly said, A bad game. Listen to everyone else. Combat is slow and tedious, there is NO sense of progress. You simply shoot...forever. I liked bubble tanks 2, for being rapid and chaotic with big changes occurring with every shot. Here? Doing nothing for one minute (I counted) nets you 50 damage. 50, mere, damage.
I have a few gripes. Since the otherwise smooth engine change, your RNG has a habit for you to miss more, furthermore, the saviors are STILL absurdly hard? Come on. You really should think twice about a fight with 4 high health enemies with 3 high damage dealers and 2 healers (At the very least. In addition to the white mage, all of them have a health potion.) Basically, as soon as you drop one of them below 150 (alia is too hard to kill once she puts on shield and M shield), the fight is endless, since he heals slightly faster than you can damage him, and you're stuck using items and healing too much to fight. Ended up having to grind 3 levels higher than them! 3/5, down from 4/5 with the old system.
Good idea, but level designs feel like a fratboy said "DO YOU THINK THEY CAN HIT THAT POINT SENDING IT THERE AND THEN THERE?" 2/5, because the levels were heinous.
well, all achievements achieved. Less than 2 hours actually, just had to wait for the 2 hour achievement. Hope to see this as either badges or a card game
eh, good game, but engine makes level 37 too frustrating to be fun. The solution is simple, but the physics make hitting two boxes twice almost impossible. (Also, the bottom box, you have to get lucky and flip it)
I have over a dozen film pieces.....and I need NOTHING but music. For four days in a row. And nothing but video games and music for the whole game. Work on that.
good game, however, your tower accuracy is garbage, your towers occasionally just stop firing altogether, and bullet speed hassles the physics, causing large slow moving clumps of bullets that can take upwards of a minute to reach the target. As it stand, 3/5.
