I really enjoyed the first one, it was satisfying with all of the cool power ups. This one... well. It's a good platformer but the combat is ABSOLUTELY horrendous. I spent all game hoping for some kind of weapon upgrade and I finally find the whistle... after getting the ninth key. And even at that, it's just annoying to be hit by an enemy you are trying to kill and have them not die. Plus that part at the lower right of the map with like 5 of those flying guys in a bunch is stupid.
Very interesting game, definitely fun. Most levels took little more than a few seconds of thinking and a bit of trial and error, but a nice little puzzle game to get the mind tickin'.
Another solid adventure game... only one main complaint though. It was a bit tedious. I didn't mind the part with the paint well, since it was a puzzle to get them in order, but with the bees... going back and forth 4 times is just annoying. Oh and the mute button comes on and off randomly (but is still on mute) in random places, but in the paint well area it actually plays the trickling even on mute.
Boring game, not much progression. Upgrading your monster and your chest is useless and expensive. Since you want points, you just let your traps stand there, leaving you bored out of your mind, wishing there was a "next wave" button like in most TDs (which is what this basically is).
I actually discovered a minor glitch in the 30th level, but when I realized it was useful I couldn't reproduce it. If you can toss the grenade JUST above the pipe in a certain way, it will drop RIGHT on top of the upper box, blowing open the top pipe path but NOT triggering the chain reaction. This gives you ALL the time you need to set up for the chain reaction.
Trial By Fire
Dude! You just completed the Trial By Fire achievement in Perfect Balance and won the Trial By Fire badge and 30 points!
Amazing game, very cool. But I have to say level 29 in both modes was the only real kick in the pants.
510 points, woot.
For music: 4/5. For artwork: 6/5. For not having it end the way it would if it was a guy's dream: 0/5... lol. Total: 5/5!
Oh and I can see faint white boxes where the differences are...
Pretty fun. I just started on Nightmare with no-clip and left trails of Barrels as I ran circles around the mobs of zombies. Then one handy shotgun blast set them all off in a chain reaction... like setting the fuse of dynamite, except the fuse is made of more dynamite!
4/5 since it has sort of low replay value.
Um, yeah... I have over 600 gold on me now (after buying lots of stuff), I'm level 14 and have done the "10 quests" badge (and gotten plenty of gold from them), but the "farm 100 gold" badge is not yet complete...
Any reason why this is happening?
Good concept, but too short. And there needs to be a way to quit a mission in case you didn't read the briefing by accident. Oh and of course fix the final gun.
Otherwise, some of them (like level 8) are way too easy.
