I think this is a really good game. Needs a tutorial though to tell you that taking down ships that have a lot of gold without damaging them is good. My first play through I used mainly cannons and was getting very little gold.
jessie: your ship shoots off the side which is most up facing. hope that helps.
great game 4/5. Would have been 5 except for a few things that bugged me: Sell all button? storage in a home base would help with items you wanted to keep around for special occasions. Hotkeys for potions and arrow rains? Playing this on a laptop with a touch pad for a mouse was pretty difficult.
Some suggestions to make it flow better: Allow tiles to switch places, allow tiles to be placed in the wrong limiter, just don't make the connection... and maybe determine an order to the tiles such that the puzzle can actually be solved if the tiles are placed correctly.
The first two help, the last might make it too easy.
