Two comments :
* Having the diamonds paid upgrades staying after prestige is nice. But it will be even more interesting for gameplay to get back diamonds (and losing upgrade) after prestige. Thus we could try different strategies.
* Preferred gift should give a bonus (50%?) to personalize more the girls.
An idea to make level score challenging/rewarding : have 50 (or something around) lives for the whole game, thus player must obtain good score on earlier levels to progress.
I preferred the first version (except half turn in a the middle of a corridor), it was more puzzling. This one is much more straightforward but still nice.
let's resume : good game but absolutely needs : hot keys, pause button, map arrows, autosave.
And IMHO a resurrection for pet and hero in town with or without penalty but not just game ove because it becomes quite boring after a while to reload/restart.
