Now my DualShock 3 isn't working on this game. When I switch the controls in the player selection menu nothing happens in game. It works properly on other games. Is there some kind of guide or test I can do for this game specifically?
PS4 and Xbox controllers should work without any hassle, but with a PS3 one you'll probably need a program to make it emulate an xbox controller. Here's what I did when testing it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TpSaOJJIun8
Am I the only one having this problem? While at Naxxramas (raiding), and I get to the boss, a little monster comes up. This is normal but when the monster dies, all of my allies leave me, the rage meter disappears, and it counts like I have bested the boss. However, the boss does not die and remains at the HP you left him at, therefore meaning that I solo the rest. While I can still progress through the raid since it counts as done, I would love to have some legendaries. So unless I become extremely lucky and not get a little monster till the boss is atleast 3/4 down, then I can't get a legendary. Is it just me?
Did anybody even get the last hat? I already tried killing him with sharks around, no sharks around, without being hit, with the shark sleigh, yet nothing seems to work. Ideas?
"I need a car... Any car" (Cool heavy truck right infront of him) "Yeah I'll just give 500$ to whoever owns those cars to take the small hatchback, and I'll walk all the way back after a ride instead of walking forward. I'll use the money i get from pounding zombes to buy that truck right infront of me, too bad whoever owns it cant get to the chopper."
Oh btw develepor I was speaking more of rings, amulets, 2hander slow strong weopans, enchantement orb to strengthin it, stuff like that for armor. And by sword I meant weopan, sorry about that. Not amulets as in consumed upon use, more like equipped. Shields maybe?
Ok fair enough. There could have been more of that type of variation for sure. Unfortunately when making games in Flash we always end up hitting a size problem - only a very few games get away with > 10MB sizes and I didn't want to take that chance with my first Dungeon crawler. This was 9.8MB originally and then I optimised it down to the current size while it was in auction... I packed in all I could manage at the time.
Oh cool so if im not praising a game like god I get -5 downvotes? All I was stating were suggestions, and complaints, comments rnt here just to praise the developer. Or maybe coz now it has 5.5k plays and a rating of 3.6, but the game hasnt changed has it? Im pretty sure this will be rated down soon -_-'
Looks like a decent game, the teenager looks are weak and not heroic, and might discourage people to play this game due to the pixelated graphics. The skill tree needs a little work, as it only consists of 5 skills. The equipment also, all u get is a sword and armor? Plus, I wouldnt trust teenagers with a sword either, especially a mini- barbie. Since this got about 300 plays by the time i write this, this is overratted, but this should not affect anyones rating. 4/5
@FireFox44 The forgotten forge is hidden at the molten fields to the right, if u need a map go to http://images.jayisgames.com/hs_tasteofawesome_castaway_2_map.png Its a full map of evreything and can be very useful + If it helped please :D
Extra tip for 101: While i was playing (i did a basic maze of explosive traps & triggers) everything was ok, but i had extra money and was plain bored so i tried to add the standard lure without linking it and it was amazing:a)it pralayzed them for a while while my traps reloaded b) it sometimes confused them and made them walk the other way (it was beautiful with the captains :D) plz keep this alive for others to use ^^
@Jerzuxexar If u want badges, u should rate the game highly so Greg would add badges. It is not the develepors fault, he can't control it. Oh and if by 0/5 u mean u didnt even rate it then take back evreything I said. Coz the worst rating is 1/5.
@StackoLee That could be possible but kongregate does not allow fullscreen play on any flash game :/, So its not the develepors fault, Even if u zoom in the game would remain the same size
A very beautiful peaceful game, though at some point it got a bit boring. If there was a small story to it (but not like saving the world O.o) example: The fairy needs to collect these thing so she could create a new world/first life/heal someone/etc. A nice peaceful concept would just add to the quailty of the game.
"Sir, there is a giant worm which eats all the soldiers we send and apparently explodes when It's hungry! Should we just let it starve?"
"Send more troops out there"
For me the game represented childhood, and the voice is your parents as they guide you through your life as a child. The beginning of the game was a child wishing to be a grown up(man/woman) but the parents indicate in the beginning that your still a child but in the end(if you choose to obey) they tell you that you're a man/woman. The reason why they make you go through the tough road in the game isn't because they hate you(there are so many points that shows their love) it's because it teaches you about life and make it clearer to you, but by disobeying and taking the easy road in life you end up hurting your self and missing on alot of details. I don't think it's a game about control through your whole life but about the guidance in your childhood and the conclusions of your decision(obey/disobey). The end means you growning up and leaving your parents, and in both ways the game clearly indicate that the voice(parents) loved you. Thank you for reading this I hope you enjoyed. ^^
