Wow, that's one big combo that's accumulating. *walks away, has something to eat, goes to bed, wakes up the next day and looks at screen* Yup, still going. Maybe I shouldn't have put so many launchers on the floor...
Actually, I just looked up that Latin phrase. It means "A sound mind, BEHIND a healthy body". I think it's a joke (the Cornerman says "there's something wrong with those two"). The other, original phrase is on the card "Cross-Training".
Those were brilliant references to "Toss the Turtle" and "Learn to Fly" if I do say so myself. When you buy the "mysterious and impractical upgrade", whenever you hit the ground, your plane transforms into an origami thing. The penguin and the turtle are all I have transformed into as of yet, though. Pure genius!
Does anybody know what "mens sana pone corpus sanum" means? I know it's Latin, but I'm not sure what it says. It's on the card "Form Follows Function".
Thanks for supporting me Terzak. That's exactly what I meant. Also, TheBenj, I agree with you, but my point was that the villains have different badges. The Notch has a "Marksman" badge. The Sunderlings (and a couple others) have a "Villain Mastermind" badge. All I'm asking is, if the villains can have those badges, why can't we?
@ zfshiruba - So sorry. It worked for me, so I just figured it would work for everybody. I was never able to get orange items off of normal no matter how hard I tried. If it works for anybody else, I sincerely apologize.
@ JoyreactorMan: Beat the game (not sure if you need all gold medals or not) and you get a more powerful trebuchet and a warp potion that annihilates everything by sucking the castle into a vortex. Also gives you achievement "into the void" when you use it.
Isn't there a Japanese guy who did something similar to this before this game even came out?

There should be a way to teleport your enemies. That way, you can move them to one place and easily blow them to smithereens. Which would be very useful if you haven't got many weapons yet (early in the game). I also suggest there be a way to move the screen so you can see/shoot the characters that are far away (without this, it's frustrating when you're on your last turn for gold, and there's one guy left, but you can't see him. trust me, I've been in that situation dozens of times).
For those of you who just can't seem to master the bonus levels, here are some hints:
1. Take your time, there's no rush. Even if you have to get 1 heart every 5 minutes being cautious, you won't believe how quickly time will fly until you get your 45 hearts.
2. Did you realize that, if you get hit, only a section of your health goes down?
3. Did you also realize that, if you don't get hit for a period of time (just dodge instead of collect hearts), your health slowly regenerates?
4. A powerup only appears after you've collected the one that's already there. So if you see a powerup you don't think you need, get it anyways, and maybe a more useful one will show up.
5.When you have the shield in Toby's bonus level, watch out, because it just repels bombs (like a magnet the wrong way), not stops them. You can still get hurt if a bomb touches you.
121 stars.... is it just a coincidence that this happens to be the same number of collectible stars in both Super Mario 64 and Super Mario Galaxy? Or was that on purpose?
