Very neat improvement over the previous one, it's like a whole new dimension has been added to the game. Many congratulations to you guys, that game is a masterpiece :)
4/5. Very nice concept, although it gets repetitive (aka boring) pretty fast. Mostly, the puzzles are too easy, and they are all solved pretty much the same way. Still, had a good time playing this :)
I remembered that I used to hate the ninjas in this game. Now that is playable again, I get the pleasure of rediscovering HOW MUCH i actually used to hate them ^^v
I HATE having limited time for this sort of puzzle. I just can't relax, think quietly or even play this casually while doing something else. That is a complete deal-breaker for me. Stopped playing at 4th stage, 1/5, won't play again.
I just noticed there is a well-hidden "rearrange" button inside the statistics window, which improves balance between neural paths and helps minimize power loss due to longer path lenghts. It would be nice if this was made more visible somehow, as it is a rather useful feature.
5/5, well executed, I really loved it. The way the final boss uses the same traps and attack patterns as the previous levels turned what could have been a frustrating end battle into a clever "think-fast" challenge. Some puzzles were kinda infuriating but somehow they always managed to stay just below rage-quit level. I can't help thinking there HAD to be a way to put some large rolling boulder to run away from at some point but, hey, this game is definitely good enough as it is anyway. Congrats and many thanks for bringing us this gem :)
The Brain Stimulation Glitch (TM) is not actually caused by brain stimulation but seems rather related to the Pulses Speed upgrade. So far it seems to work without ever glitching as long as I keep pulse speed to a minimum.
There needs to be a somewhat accessible way to get cristals in the endgame.
How about adding an undestructible cristal rock outside of the field yielding cristals the same way rocks do ?
As it is now, the only way to get cristals after you've mined everything is to reset to the next day, which at that point ends up costing some obscene amounts of money and involves waiting at best several hours, at worst entire days. This is simply not reasonable.
I'm very frustrated right now. I(ve played every game in the series, I likedeach and every of them, rating them all between 3 and 5 stars and I distinctly remeber how when this one first got released on Kong I had played the first 10 levels and enjoyed them. Then came the update and then the badge so I came back and played those new 5 levels. Man, was I ever so wrong...
Basically, I ended up rating this 2/5, and frankly that annoys me, because this is likely to be what I'm going to remember of the whole series in the long run: "they're good games, except THAT one which I don't remember so well except that by the time you're about to finish it the games becomes excruciatingly frustrating until you hate it so much it sucks away all the fun out of you and leave you raging and stuff".
Completely brilliant, this is just pure genius... I spent most of the game overconfidently believing I had solved it pretty much right away, and ended up delighted to find out not only that I was wrong, but also that the "correct" solution was much *much* better than what I was thinking of ^^ Again and as always, congrats on making this gem, 5/5, faved and everything :)
Hey, good game but... what did you do to my keyboard? Non-alpha keys are all mixed up, it took a while just to figure out where the colon char had gone (I own an AZERTY keyboard, and for me the ':' char was actually mapped to the '$' key). Not too big an issue, but kinda annoying anyway.
After playing and 5-star-ing the 3 "tales" episodes, i finally got around to buying and playing Elemental Link on Steam. I have to say, the main game is awesome and I loved every minute of it. Kudos to the devs for making these little gems.
The last few puzzles were pretty fun and actually challenging, but most of the game is repetitive, boring copy-paste of the same few tricks over and over again. 3/5 even though I really liked the last part because I was really close to quiting out of boredom about halfway before reaching it.
Glad you enjoyed it :) I'm adding a new player idea for the next installment which is going to change things up again!
