@hellsdottir, you have to build the right kind of deck to do well in campaign. The internet can help you with that, as can chat.

@Squishybrick Are you serious? The hard badge takes maybe 5 hours to get. It's not that hard.

The year is 2085. The world is in ruins. The nuclear warfare has turned the entire planet into a desert. Man is thrown back into the stone-age, herding cattle, barely surviving. However, life is mostly safe. Except for the irradiated cacti. Oh, the cacti. They fall from the sky, launched up by the warheads. So irradiated are they, that one mere touch means instant death. This is the story of Bill, and this is his eternal struggle for survival. C'mon, wouldn't that make a great intro?

Love the Phoenix Wright reference in debating John Stuart Mill.

Man, and they got close too. I suppose that since the game was starting to lose steam, it was only inevitable for a cash grab, but I expected more from Antic. I've bought many gems in the past, but I refuse to buy a single one now that they're giving away exclusive, overpowered cards to those who pay them. This was close to being a true "free-to-play, not pay-to-play" game, but now that they've added the VIP system, it's truly a pay-to-play-competively game. Their old VIP system of "Occasionally, if you've bought gems, we'll give you some more for free" was fine, since gems were a fairly obtainable currency. And their new log-in rewards made it plausible for even novice players to obtain epic ranked cards easily, without paying. But now they're going into a future that, if not changed, will completely destroy the game. And forward, though I can not see, I guess and fear.

Is it wrong that I like this way more than Feudalism III?
"Hey, let's make great cards that people can only get by paying us a ton of money! I'm sure that won't get any resentment from players!" -Jeffo, during an ANTic Ent. Strategy Meeting

If you ever create a sequel, one thing that would make the whole repair in the middle system better (great addition, by the way!) would be to have a car "damage meter" of sorts. When you're repairing the bumpers, for instance, you only have to repair whatever percentage you lost, or, if you only lose 2 tires instead of 4, halving the time it takes to replace them. Great game, with huge improvements over the last one, though. I can't wait to see what you make next!

Is there any way to turn off scroll-wheel weapon switching? On an Apple Magic Mouse, even the tiniest movement of your finger (I'm talking nanometers here) counts, and completely throws off your gameplay.

You know what would solve every spawn point problem in the game? Is if, when you spawn, not only could people not kill you, but you couldn't kill anyone or destroy vehicles for those five seconds.

@sulsan It will copy any card. However, I believe that if it copies a legendary, then they'll both go straight to the graveyard.
Aug. 16, 2013
@sulsan You can fight against your own decks against another one of your decks with the computer controlling it. It's not much, but at least it's something.

@Taylor That said, the cards you buy are real, have a real value, and can be sold for real money, sometimes even at a profit. You can not compare a real card game to a virtual card game in the same way you can not compare having a virtual pet to having a real pet.

I know you said you won't make a third Nowhere Safe, but I really hope that you end up doing so.

LOL! Thanks for your support. Ummm... I'll try to think of something similar maybe, but the story is really exhausted at this point. I will consider it. I just don't feel like I have any more of Nowhere Safe inside of my brain. :D

They should make tournament credits avaliable as a daily chest reward, even if it is just 1 or 2.
May. 19, 2013
They should make some tournaments cost less tickets than others, for lesser rewards, of course, so that those of us who don't have tons of tickets can afford to play in them without paying exorbitant fees. For example, consider making the middle tournament only cost 3 or 4 tickets instead of 6, while leaving the bottom tournament where it is in terms of cost.

@wheelofjeopardy Have you ever played the game much? Energy only applies to campaign, and even in campaign you can play for a while without losing it. In arena's, no energy is used, so you can play forever without ever having to worry about energy.

@Froger66 They had hero upgrades, but in an update, I'm tempted to say 0.9.0 or 0.9.1, they got rid of that. Before, there were hero "tiers", with some heroes significantly better than others, and arenas that only allowed certain tiers. Now, all heroes are the same tier, and you can not upgrade your hero. It existed, but they decided it didn't make the game better, and removed it.

@deadhead There IS a rating system. It'll match you up with people up to 100 rating points higher or lower than you.

@SonataValkin It was replaced in an update quite a while back.
