Very simple and elegant game. I love the addition of the third dimension to a classic puzzle game. Not too difficult if you're patient. I completed the entire thing and found two bonus objects with no hints. Now I just need to get Kongregate to recognize that. The storyline was amusing as a side note, but not integrated enough to really add anything to the game. Sequel?

That laser is like the chainsaw murderer in horror films: No matter how fast you move and despite his slow plodding walk, every time you turn around he's always right behind you.
An accuracy counter would be a nice addition to the game, but it would not work with the archers shooting random letters. The archers would probably work better as a backup if the ninjas do get up the steps. I think the combo mechanic could be make more suitable by giving it more time to combo, but breaking the combo for inaccuracies or errors. Again, this would not work with the archers as they are now.
As I said, this game has a solid concept, it just needs some smoothing out to become great. I hope this comment helps with that.
The typing aspect of this game is fun, but some tweaking would make the game a lot smoother and fun to play.
There is a bug where a ninja with all "x"s over their head occasionally won't die, resulting in me being stunned or blinded. Also, I believe you have the speed for "Tap Quickly" set too high. Even pressing left and right as fast as I can, it still kills me. A save feature or easier bosses would cut down on player frustration greatly.
Since you have the words needed to type moving across the screen quickly, I believe the word choice should be made up of common words that are easy to recognize. Often I cannot read the words and have to guess what to type.
Only one level, the items stay in the same place, the item list doesn't change, and the items aren't even really hidden. This game is good for a single playthough, if that.
