I'm in the Z600-700 range. The game feels like it's dragging some; takes a long time for interesting things, new plot, or new stuff to happen. A commonality in idle games sadly; the later you get the more they start to take a really long time for stuff to happen. Still a great game; but imo this area should be shortened a bit.
The updates field says there's an update today; but it seems buggy, my hacks cap was going up every second, and there's nothing which should cause that. So I'm just not gonna play today and wait a day or 3.
Ok, working on the shift to steam; what's up with the sales though? When I loaded up the client from steam and got the save to load, the Sellout Shop sales items don't seem to have change at all. I thought the reason the sales on the kong site hadn't changed was because of the update difficulties; shouldn't the sales on the up to date version have rotated?
Nice looking updates; sadly the memory leak bug is STILL present even after all these months, so the game quickly becomes unplayable. I hope the bug gets fixed some day.
We can't do much about the memory leak, but it's only in Firefox. If you try playing on Chrome, or on Steam, there are no memory leaks that we are aware of.
Started a few weeks ago; I'm doing the "watchdog" challenge/achievement; the system seems very unclear about when units are 'abandoned'. I've had to restart multiple times because apparently some part of the system considered troops to be 'abandoned' or 'lost' despite not actually losing them in battle. One time I set it to Not Repeating in the map; and so it went to world (I also have autofight off); then I go back to the map to do it again, I clikc on map once, it still says map, i click it again to go to map and it counts as abandoning. But it DIDNT say abandon troops. It's not like normal where you have to click maps twice and it says abandon troops after the first click; it just still says 'map'. Which is as it should be; the 'stack' may still be there, but it shouldn't count as being stuck in world battle mode when I haven't sent them out to battle yet; I should be able to go back to maps without it counting as an abandon. I've had a number of other issues as well;
Ah, I see, that's the kind of thing a tooltip would've explained; since it said 3/hour, I assumed that meant I was passively harvesting some, just like all the other resources, rather than it being an estimate of your earning rate.
Been playing for a few days; how come there's no tooltip for Helium/hr? All the other resources have tooltips that show why you're getting the amount you're getting (good tooltips btw, this game has lots of good clear tooltips).
I wonder how sale rotation for the Sellout shop is going to work once the game is finished. right now it's only rotated when there's an update; so when there are no more updates will there be no more sales? Or a mild sale on everything? or will they jsut be manually on sale every once in awhile? I always save up my AP and tend to wait for the stuff I want to be on sale before getting it; at least for the stuff that isn't imminently vital.
I'm still getting a memory leak when playing this game in Firefox, even with this new version. (other details in my prior bug report on the matter). After going for one world or so it ends up at 4 gig memory taken, and keeps growing.
It's easy to miss that Sum; the font for it is quite small, and on some terrains the visibility is poor. It'd help if the font for it was like 4x bigger, to better match other things in the game, as well as to just be easy to see, especially for those of us with less than perfect eyesight.
The definition of 'evens' as found in the new Religion is problematic; it only counts 2/4/6/8/10; whereas creatures, such as the Creeping Eye, counts 2/4/6/8/10/j/q/k as even. It's bad for 'even' to have two different definitions in game
There's some sort of crash when using Shield bash when you have no block; it only happens sometimes, and I'm not sure what extra requirements there are. It's only happened when I have no block and just used shield bash for the lulz. It requires me to refresh the window so it can reload the game.
Were improved rewards ever added for EVIL laser sword challenge? It lists no special rewards and says more will be added over time; I'm not sure if rewards were added and the text not updated or if they were never added.
A need more tooltip info situation: Sudden Death doesn't tell me exactly how big a boost I'm getting at the moment; while it shows up in the tooltips for each weapon, Sorceress's energy ability doesn't tell you how much damage it will do when you activate it. Normally it's not an issue since it does the total of your card values; but when sudden death is active (or strength potion) it's doing more, and I need to calculate just how much more to see if it's enough to finish off a foe or not.
I'm a bit sad that I can't do the occasional super-bonus run in casual where I bought every possible buff there was (costed ~100k points), twas easy, but a fun silly romp at times.
I'd like an increase in the font size of the little white number that says what the total value of the cards you have is. The one that's just to the down and right of the End Turn button in battles. When using sorceress it really matters what that total is, and the small font makes it a bit hard to see the number. It might also be an issue that depends on the background in that area, as the terrain backgrounds sometimes don't give as much contrast as other areas.
I'm still hoping the next update includes some features for more mass buy. I have 10k blood to spend; and a ridiculous number of units in need of upgrading, at lesat 40 unit types I have 70+ of; it's just too tedious to do all the clicking for them, so I'd like some way to just get it all done with one click.
