The bonuses felt a little... pointless, simply because I unlocked them all at once with very little effort. There doesn't seem to be any real achievement to it, because it's so easy. Nice concept, but it'd be far better if there was -some- challenge to it. Hint: Being hit should do a little more damage. xP
Resetting from the very beginning is frustrating, likewise losing and having to start from the beginning rather than there being some kind of continue. Bugged out when I demolished a castle in one shot, too. The score system is screwed up, as well - if I've knocked over the entire damn thing, I score something like 1.6k points when I need 2k, and then can't reach the flag underneath for the crucial points. Anything that hits the ground or is seriously knocked into another part should count for scores. 3/5, though, because it's still good fun
Very cool. Certainly something special here - it's a fun game to play, relaxing, with sweyt graphics and a meaningful story behind it. And the controls are excellent too. One thing that would be nice - a mute button, primarily for when you've paused it, as someone mentioned. Grats on a great game. :D
Ouch. One flaw is that you can be so royally screwed by a single unluckily placed bomb. Perhaps they shouldn't be so utterly lethal? A bomb landing next to a trench would not annihilate everyone inside - trenches are better protection than you'd think.
Excellent improvements on the previous game. Compulsive - but a little frustrating at times. Once you're used to the game mechanics, though, it gets a lot easier.
Don't mean to be harsh, but might I ask if you tested this? I found that it was -much- too hard to get through all the stars, or indeed any at all. The target zone is far too small, given the PoV, and as a result the best you can hope for is to get through the level - which is unsatisfying at best.
Still, the graphics, smoothness of animation and the actually not-that-bad gameplay earn this a 3 from me.
