Seriously, how many hps do you have to get to beat the game? I got to 2500 before the game glitched and crashed, and I never could beat that final dot. I didn't want to do it again! Is it even possible to win?
Wow, this is a really solid game. I didn't realize it was made in Russia.
Crypt>Orc Den> Demon Tower.
Sometimes many orc dens can be very good, esp against assassins.
Upgrading the experience on crypts and dens is probably the most important. Freeze is great too.
One of the best games of its type I've ever played. Truly exceptionally well crafted and rewarding game. Reminded me a little bit of Blaster Master for the NES in the feeling of vastness of the world.
Solid game, but I second the complaints about thge final boss. It's such a roll of the dice..I'm pretty sure I was doing everything right, and it took about 30 tries to off him. It's a lot like playing a dice game where you win when you get triple ones, and lose other times. It's boring...
I'm usually not fond of these point and click games. But the ambience was just so fantastic...
That being said, I it the clock bug too. Problem was the clock in the shop was too small. I thought it was on 8, but it didn't register. had to fiddle with the handles. Still, fine little game you got there :)
Having lived in Korea for the last three years, this MUST be Korean. Their cutesyness, their obsession with western things, the "let's be happy."
That being said, I don't see how this qualifies as a game ;)
This game wins points for an original idea, being basically fun, and all the characters. It loses points for such lack of real variety among characters, lack of balance (when you get bird man tribe leader, why use anything else?), and being repetitive and quite boring after a short while.
no matter what I don't, I can't get hit to work. never even once.
i think there is some weird link in opera, ctrl+arrow makes it leave the page.
Makes the game a lot less fun..getting trapped somewhere where a hit would allow and easy out, and dying.
4. Cool equipment system. You have to collect all sorts of stuff to level up your gear, it's a good system.
5. ASTOUNDING attention to detail. WTF? They wear every bit of gear they are currently equipped with in every cutscene? How the hell is that even possible?
These are some dedicated coders, who clearly LOVE to program games. They deserve the best of the month, and much more.
I've played games on Kong for years, and this is almost certainly the single best.
A casual RPG - and one of the most fun RPGs I've played in a long time.
A few things make it good -
1. No grinding. At a certain point, you are simply maxed. Level 30, all your gear is at 5, you have all the money you need. There is no point to grinding. What will you do, buy lots of ice cream?
2. "Tension" is moved. In old school RPGs, the tension came from having to survive the dungeon. Shit, I just got this .001% ultra mega sword drop, now I just have to defeat that huge boss and walk all the way out without dying! It does get the blood pumping, but when you don't beat that boss, and lose 45 minutes of gameplay..it just sucks. You can save anytime in this game, and pick your battles. But there still is tension, because even the regular battles are relatively hard, and the boss battles are scorchingly so.
3. Action packed battles. There's just a lot going on, engaging battle play.
