@Hemer, level 28 Necromancer with 170/47/47/23 just cleared ever enemy in Death Desert without using any class skill. Both calculators say that shouldn't be possible.
That's funny. People commenting on the fact the calculators have issues get their comments rated down. What, should people just bury their heads in the sand?
@Hemer, I know to input my own stats, not use the averages generated by the calculators. Quite simply, they were wrong. As for why people pick Necromancers, I'd imagine it is because they are overpowered.
@CantTouchThisKid The Necromancer skill increases Defense. Cougars are beat with HP or STR. Even if I was foolish and hadn't considered the class skill, it wouldn't change anything.
Lordkia, Thystonius, poison does stack. The only time you see a lower value for it replace a higher value is when you kill an enemy with an attack, where it doesn't matter.
not_spartacus mentioned, "for an extra challenge, I've been trying playing with 4 charcters of the same class." I've successfully done this with every class, and it is quite interesting. I highly recommend anyone who finds this game too easy to try it.
First, I am still annoyed Bloodsprite's heal skill has the wrong value listed. Second, and more importantly, I just beat the new campaign with four assassins. Which class should I try four of next?
I suppose I may not have been clear enough Dugra. The amount of healing I listed was not the amount displayed in the log, but rather the difference in health totals I observed. In that particular case, one character's health total went from 148 to 218. There is a clear discrepancy between the description and the effect.
Is there a reason Bloodsprite heals far more than the listed value? For example, at level 10 the listed healing value is 28, but it is healing for 70. I think the two and a half proportion holds for all levels, but I don't know why it is that way.
I am glad Bloodsprite heals more, since it would be pathetic otherwise. I am just confused by the description.
