What is this... I was expecting a good ending but all it does is display my statistics... How very disappointing. Nevertheless, it was nice to play a sequal version of the first one.
To beat the robot you need to dodge his attacks. Keep on dodging and you will notice his body turning red and that's when you jump on him. Stomp him like doing goomba! Do that three times (when his body turns red) and the Badge's all yours.
